Here it is, and with 4 hours to spare before class. I've got to stop torturing myself like this. @_@

There's an ethereal beauty to this picture. I love the fireflies, the light reflected on the male mouse's face, the koi, everything! Thank you for sharing this lovely work.
hmmm This came out lovely and I can see you've put a lot of time into this. However if I could nit pick it. I feel as if you can push the perspective by going softer on the edges. I also feel as if the piece would read more romantic if instead of the water fading into blackish navy it faded into more of the deep magentas or Burgundy's that are in the kimono of the white mouse. Also I feel as if the fish would sit more in the water if their line work and color was slightly distorted like the ripples above them. *hugs* keep up the good work.
Your use of color has extremely increased within just this piece..this is really really good SARA!
I really like this a lot sara and it's good to see you coloring things. XP
Also being nitpicky- I still think you can push the linework (size of the line) on the mice. The head of the male is perfect imo. Also, you have such drastic shading on this piece, but I think because of that you need to push the darks directly under the feet to make them look more grounded. Right now, the shading onthe lily pad almost goes lighter to the edge of the feet and the reverse needs to be happening.
That's my two cents. I really like Afi's suggestions too (R U COMING TO GRADUTION d00d?! >_<;;;;)

EDIT: by linework here I mean in the following areas the size might look good increasing:
ear of the female mouse where the lily pad is behind it
bottom side of female moouse tail and foot
top front edge of lilypad mouse are standing on
the front lilypad almost in darkness
also just thought of this... coloring your lines! XP

This is wonderfully engrossing.
If Disney ever did the same thing with CGI, they couldn't come close to the effort you put into this.

Apparently, you work well under pressure, or else you wouldn't have tortured yourself for 4 years ;)
Huzzah! Now that is absolutely gorgeous! I love the Bansai on the mouse's clothing. And the Koi are brilliant as well. I hope the Art Class loves it!

I love this image and those koi OMG so beautiful!
Such soft colors and flowing lines - it truly adds to the magical atmosphere in this piece. Job well done!
That is wonderful, its a very evocative image. The scene itself is magical while not being fantasy, as such. It really has a nice feeling like the older-style of cartoons where the animal characters just fit into the scenes
This is beautiful! I like how they're floating on the water, but it almost seems as if it were empty space. c:
