Halloween is coming up. So, I decided I"d be a cat. Having relatively little money (and a very poor selection of Halloween costumes in the stores), I had to make my own costume.
This tail turned out pretty well, IMO, and *really* well in the opinions of a couple others. The thin rope wraps around, through beltloops or just around the waist, to hold the tail in place. The entire thing is made out of only three pieces of yarn (it would"ve been just one, except for a few screw-ups, including getting the unworked yarn caught in the tail itself somehow. Long story).
I thought, "Could I possibly sell these?" Would anyone actually be interested? It would only be about $4-$5 for one solid colour, and a couple dollars more for multi-coloured (depending on how many colours, exact pattern, etc.). Now, I can not, in any way, guarantee length, preciseness of pattern, strength, or detail-quality. It"s homemade, remember.
Oh, as for the ears? Eheheh... I haven"t even started on them. >_>;
