This is the image of the galaxy where Edgerunner takes place. This image will be used for later sectioning of races sectors of space and home world location. The nice thing about this map is it's 3d so I can zoom in to any star you can see and not see in this image, not only that but switching views allows me to view axis's in all directions. Still looking in to some filters and other setting to improve clarity for the actual game maps.

It's pretty easy, you can get Blender for free at Blender.org and I believe it's downloadable on steam as well for free now, go look up a how to on youtube and there are lots and make one, this particular one uses some other effect I looked into on youtube as well.
