Many many thanks to blackwolfmagic for providing me with yet another spectacular picture. One of these days I'll have to find a way to pay her back.
Since I'm about half-way done with writing "A Pirate's Life for Me" I figured I'd start generating some hype about with the whole 5 or 6 people who actually read my stuff.
The new story follows the crew of Solaria, a black-hulled ship with solar sails that has recently been dubbed a pirate ship by the Stellar Federation and arrest warrants for each crew member have been issued.
From left to right:
* Zita, A 5-tail fennec kitsunetaur and the ship's weapon master
* Jack Daniel, a typical human and former pirate captain.
* Stardust, A Chakat, the main character and captain of Solaria
* Rommie, An Alaskan Malamute and Stardust's best friend
* Sonicboom, a cheetah-variant Chakat and Solaria's pilot
Characters are copyright ChakatBlackstar
Art is copyright http://blackwolfmagic.deviantart.com/
Chakats are copyright Goldfur
UPDATE: The story this picture is from is now complete and available to read at : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7249006

Artist did a good job with the characters. I'm happy to see a cheetah chakat that does not have hair. Very nice characters Blackstar.
Well I noticed a distinct lack of Cheetah-variant Chakats so I figured it was about time someone corrected that, and I figured that someone should be me.
It's also nice to know my Beloved Malamutes have made it through the Gene Wars.
Hmm Now I want to know how they go from a dog that thinks every body is their friend to a Morph, I would like to hope they keep most of the traits that I love so much. One of them is always being up beat and glad to see you if it's only been five min. I wonder would their belly's still rule?
I'm sitting here thinking what it could be like...

Diplomacy is the art of saying, "Nice doggie!" until you can find a rock.

If they run into the Folly the Folly's crew will be picking Solaria out of their grill
I was speaking metaphorically. Though given the Folly's size I'm half-surprised she hasn't run over any smaller ships.
From me chapter one:
"And rocks?" she asked with a smile.
"Haven’t hit one yet," was the reply. "I have very good sensors."
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I love the picture and your small snipit of your tale has already got me curious. I can't wait till you post it.
Well done!
