Whoever placed this magic rattle wanted a lovable babyfur just like this one.
Where did they find this rattle, I think I might have lost it... yeah not just looking to be babied or anything

Well, they could have been trying to pick it up to remove it from the street or ask around if anyone had lost it from a a good samaritan standpoint. Granted, it seems much more likely to be found now given an unattended baby certainly wouldn't escape notice!
Hey, maybe the rattle was one like the one I had that had hypnotic powers? Well at could have been worse.
