This is a really cute icon format. I like the custom cropping of the 'box' and the tree giving it a bit of depth while poking out.
Yeah, having elements poking out of the image borders is really having nice results. you can see me using it on pretty much everything in the last month or so :P
It's made a world of difference! I like the look of all of them.
