First day at RMBL, they immediately sent us out into the woods to do some "Zen Ecology," and come back with some possible observations and questions. I spent a whole hour looking at moss.
When we came back, somehow we formulated a question about how ant diets may vary between different habitats. (Which was neat, as I'm used to formulated experiments that have been repeated millions of times in highschool classrooms and we just came up with this idea out of the blue)
I have never stared at ants for two solid hours before, yelling at some cardboard containing sugar, tuna, cornmeal and salt and screaming "C'MON ANTS! GET THE TUNA." And writing down how many ants visited each circle per three minutes.
The fact that I'm at RMBL in the first place is nerdy on its own, but I happen to like bugs.

Subsequently I started drawing a lot of ants, which I accidentally made cute, and now I can't stop.
