I don't normally do a lot of remakes but I just happened to see the 2012 one in my files earlier and got really inspired to give it a go since I got some ideas for it. I didn't want to just literally repaint the older one so I ended up changing other things too such as the composition. But I think that's part of the improvement too! Always interesting to compare and it's been 6 years since the second version and almost 10 since the first one too.

And here I thought the 2012 version couldn't get any better. beautiful work. 9 years and the original is masterpiece. Wonder what 9 more years will bring.

*nodnods* That was this wuff's first thought too! And very much something Vrghr would do, too, bringing someone a flower to cheer them up!
I was just thinking to commission something like this. (I just gifted my BF some flower when meeting with him)
Would it be weird to say that this looks a lot like how I'd expect Amaterasu to look like (from Okami) if you couldn't see her markings?

So how does one make a picture like this in an art program , or is it impossible to learn, you just have to know how automatically
Went to view the page for a print of this but I see that the page no longer exsists on Society 6! Is there another place to find a print of this? Curious on price! It's absolutely eye catching.
