My half of an art trade with ickypossum !
I had a lot of fun doing this one even though it took a couple of extra months to finish. Maybe 85% of my time went into the background? And then 10% more into animating it? Characters are surprisingly easy compared to a million little objects flying around. Or in this case, vibrating in place. :y
One of my first attempts at messing around with semitransparent layers and blending in ASEprite.
The .gif format did not really appreciate what I was trying to accomplish but it turned out really well, I think, artifacts notwithstanding!
//EDIT: Okay so .gif hated it but .apng is aces so here is a good version! Mazel tav! :y
8 16 frames in three loops, scaled up 200% to 800x496px..

Love the amazing amount of detail you put into this, though I personally don't aprove of Icky's bad habit.
(though that's obviously my own proclivity and nothing against Icky's owner/artist or your artistic skill)

Thanks! It was a lot of fun to draw, although it took way longer than I had intended for it to. XD
No worries about your own sentiments, either. I am not exactly a huge tobacco fan either. I also have mixed feelings about diesel buses but that is neither here nor there. ;3

I found out that Icky hasn't been smoking IRL anymore, so I was happy to hear that.
I'm not that big a fan of them either, but I think you did a great job at capturing them both.
