After a friend of mine drew my character Jake as a goldfish mermaid, I loved the idea so much that I decided to try my own hand at it! Plus I felt like I needed to get on Mermay eventually lol. Canonically as a human, he can't swim at all, but I feel like even as a merman(boy?) he still would have some trouble too haha.
I made Plyso into.. I guess sort of a.. seal looking thing? I dunno, giving him a half fish body looked kinda odd xD

An so another universe another form of Jake, and even his GF were a mermaid, she still would not be happy. I could see Vlad as an octopus the ogre looking 1 as coral, etc

Besides you already have the reverse universe where Jake is the dog and Psylo is the human, and where they all are some animal. The life Aquatic just seems the next logical step. lol
