This was part of the "set" with the normal Jake Long figure, think of it as a before and after. Or maybe what he looks like now after eating away at his TV royalties for years.
Painting this one forced me to do a lot of blending with the yellow and the red when doing the shading, eventually leading me to a new painting technique I"ll be trying on future models.
Also, not mentioned in the previous model, the hair was a fun challenge because in the show they did that thing where the silhouette of the hair was outlined in green, and I wanted to have this model look good at all angles, I did some interesting painting to the hair to make it resemble that.

I'm gonna put my money at the 'You couldn't resist making him thicc' kind of deal. Dragon scales are rough so it's good to soften it up by a couple hundred pounds or so~ :D
Actually this was for a trade, and it was one of those things where I was originally going to just make the normal Jake Long figure and the other person basically asked 'can you make a fat one too' and I couldn't resist.

You're doing trades for these models? That's cool, what sizes are you able to make
Like, fatness wise, what you see here is kind of the 'max' until it just becomes 'a blob', physical size would be around 6 inches ish. Though for trades are rare unless you've got something interesting to trade.
My goodness he's so blobby that I'm not sure it even looks like him anymore.
