A nice story I wrote for  VaXen12

VaXen told me this amazing story of him going out to help his King. I loved taking notes on every word and this is what happened.

VaXination Prepararon

As the immense full moon rose above the dreaded Bowser’s Castle, a mysterious entity would arrive at the front gates of the kingdom. This special entity was known as VaXen, he was an emerald green anthropomorphic piranha plant. He had been called by Bowser himself to take on a special task. VaXen walks calmly past the steel gates and moves forward, directly to the throne room. Sitting upon his golden throne was none other than the Koopa King himself, Bowser “Muahahahaha you made it.” He bellows. VaXen smiles and replies “Of course my king. What is your request?” “I want you to train Boom Boom and Pom Pom. Their fighting skills have dropped ever since they lost to Mario.” Bowser then snaps his fingers and a nearby door opens to reveal Boom Boom and Pom Pom. VaXen looks at them both and tries to read them. Boom Boom was a large muscular koopa with a scarlet red spiky shell, and Pom Pom was slightly shorter than Boom Boom. She has a blonde ponytail and a smooth red shell. VaXen walks up to them and says “I think I can work with these two.” Bowser slams his hand on the armrest of his throne. “Good, now GO!” “Yes sir.” Boom Boom and Pom Pom salute simultaneously.

VaXen then leads them both to a large metallic door with the words :Training Room: engraved on it. “Alright you two, lets see what you got.” VaXen opens the door to reveal multiple platforms raising and lowering in the air. A sleeping chain chomp on a conveyor belt, a few targets in the back and a small kitchen. “Ok, let's first have a test on accuracy. I'll show you how it's done.” They all move to the back where the targets are. VaXen holds up his right hand and aims it at one of the three wooden targets. Sky blue ice crystals begin to form at the palm of his hand. He then quickly fires three shards of ice at each target, in a matter of seconds each target was hit directly in the center. “Now you give it a try.” He says while snapping his fingers. “Remember, focus completely on the target and your projectile. Once you have full control, you'll be able to hit the center every time.” As he snaps his fingers, the ice crystals melt into water. Boom Boom stomps up first and looks at the target. “Heheh. I've got this. Cause all I need are these!” He then creates three red spiked shells identical to his. He picks all of them up with his bulky arms and volleys the shells at each target. However the first shell broke through the first target after hitting its upper left corner. The second shell broke through the center of the target, leaving a gaping hole. Finally, the third shell missed the target and became stuck in the wall. “GRR C'mon!” Boom Boom stomps angrily. Pom Pom giggles as she sees Boom Boom struggle and says. “It looks like you've also destroyed the targets with your recklessness.” Boom Boom angrily glares at Pom Pom “What Was That!” “Now Now.” VaXen says as he walks in between the both of them. “It appears that we need to replace the targets.” He then creates target duplicates made entirely out of ice. Pom Pom struts forward in front of the first ice target, she then puts her hands together in a praying position (Poof!) Two more clones of her were created! “This'll be easy.” With a flick of her hand in the air, she and her clones each create one pink shuriken. Pom Pom and her clones each fling a rose pink shuriken at the icy target. She hit the first target directly in the center. The second target was hit but just below the center. The third target was also hit directly in the center. The clones poof away as she whips her ponytail in Boom Boom’s direction. Boom Boom snarls at her. VaXen says “Alright, so, Pom Pom is skilled more with accuracy, however Boom Boom possesses more raw power. Let's move on, to the test of speed.” Boom Boom shouts. “Grr FINE!” Pom Pom says sarcastically “Ok.”

They then head over to the Chain Chomp on the conveyor belt. Vaxen then gently sends a small snowball at the Chain Chomp causing it to wake up abruptly. The Chain Chomp began the conveyor belt as it rushes toward VaXen. However with the chain holding it back, the beast was only mere inches away from VaXen. He says “This is your next test troops. Keep up the pace while evading the Chain Chomp.” Pom Pom’s eyes widen as she yells “ARE YOU NUTS!” “Yep.” VaXen chuckles as he gets on the conveyor belt. The Chain Chomp tries to pursue the Piranha Plant but VaXen outruns the beast, in fact VaXen was running faster than the Chain Chomp; he was in control of the conveyor belt! The Chain Chomp couldn't keep up, forcing it to slam back into the wall behind. As VaXen gets off, he says “Who’s next?” Boom Boom steps up audaciously and says “I’m not afraid!” Then steps on the conveyor belt. The Chain Chomp then begins to chase after Boom Boom. He runs on the conveyor belt. “Huff, Huff, see.” VaXen says “Remember, this test is not about speed. It's about refusing to stop.” The Chain Chomp angrily barks at Boom Boom as it draws closer. VaXen saw that Boom Boom was falling a bit behind! The Chain Chomp leaps with all its might towards Boom Boom. Just before it could reach, VaXen reached out and pulled Boom Boom back! “Gasp! *Huff* *Huff*” Boom Boom fell flat on his face. “You Alright?” VaXen asks. “Yeah.” Boom Boom replies. He then stands up and walks tiresome to the kitchen to sit on a stool. VaXen then turns to Pom Pom and says “Ready?” She strides forward in front of the conveyor belt. “Fine, but i’m doing this for King Bowser, not you.” She begins running on the conveyor belt as the Chain Chomp chases after her. Immediately after the Chain Chomp lunges to grab her. VaXen, again, reaches out and rescues Pom Pom. He smirks and says “You can thank me later, or now, whenever your ready really.” Pom Pom becomes offended and storms off to sit next to Boom Boom.

VaXen follows and goes into the cooking area of the kitchen. Boom Boom sits up. “(sigh) We’ll never be able to please King Bowser.” VaXen says “Hmm, how about some positive reinforcement.” “Positive what now?” Asked Boom Boom. Vaxen then presses his hands together. As he opens them back up, two spheres of ice were created. VaXen acquires a few fruits from a nearby fridge and cups from the drawer above. He places all the fruit and ice in a large blender and begins to mix them together. When they were done mixing, VaXen gives to Pom Pom and Boom Boom two delectable cups of fruit frosties. “Give it a try” VaXen says as he presents the mouth watering treat. Boom Boom tries a taste of VaXen’s fruit frosties. “Mmm, this ain't half bad!” Pom Pom then tries. “Eh, it's good enough.” Vaxen smirks. “And if you like that, how about this. If both of you complete my last challenge. I’ll tell King Bowser that you both are more than ready to face Mario. And if that happens, Bowser may give you both a reward for good behavior. Such as, your personal foot Goomba.” Pom Pom stops and says. “Interesting.” Meanwhile Boom Boom accidentally chugs his entire cup of fruit frostie and got a brain freeze. “Ahh, my head!” Pom Pom gave VaXen a mischievous smirk. “So, what is the challenge your proposing.” VaXen arose with no expressions on his face while walking towards another metallic door. “I call this challenge, Dungeon Duo.”

As he opens the door an immense obstacle course was revealed. The trial had two individual lanes. Down the first lane was blocked by a steel wall; the second lane held a heavy lever. Down further, the first lane held three targets that activate the bridge for the second lane. Even further, the lanes fuse together into one massive isle where the finish line was. VaXen says. “If you both can get to the end of the obstacle course in one minute and thirty seconds. You Pass!” Pom Pom walks to lane one and says “Ok, ok, you ready Boom Boom.” “Yeah, I’m ready!” Vaxen says “Lets begin, on your mark, get set, GO!” And with that Boom Boom and Pom Pom rush through their lanes. However Pom Pom was blocked at the large steel wall. Boom Boom, in the second lane grasps the large heavy switch and pulls it down with all his might. “Hrrng!” The large steel wall began to lower. Pom Pom gracefully leaps over the steel wall and continues. In the second lane, Boom Boom let's go of the lever and keeps going, but he stops at a colossal dark trench in the ground. Pom Pom sees the three targets. “I've got this.” (Poof) She says as she creates clones of herself with pink shurikens. Her and the clones each throw a pink shuriken. Sure enough, each target was struck at the exact center. That allowed a bridge to form for Boom Boom to get across. As they both continue to progress, they meet up at the interception with the finish line in their sights. VaXen was also waiting past the finish line. “Cmon, only ten seconds left!” He shouts. Pom Pom and Boom Boom book it as fast as they could towards the finish line. (ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two!) Boom Boom and Pom Pom cross the finish line. VaXen says “Time!” Boom Boom fell flat on his face once again on the brick flooring. Pom Pom says as she tries to catch her breath “*Huff* *Huff* Did we make it.” “Indeed you did, and you both beat the record by one second. You both pass.” VaXen says as he golf claps for them.

Once they got back to Bowser’s throne room, VaXen says to Bowser “King Bowser, both Pom Pom and Boom Boom have not only accomplished the tasks I've given them, but they also might be able to receive an award if you so wish.” “A reward huh?” Bowser ponders “Hmm, Alright! You both will receive a personal Goomba.” Two Goombas emerge past a steel door. Both the Goombas bow at Boom Boom and Pom Pom. Pom Pom, filled with delight, says “OH, thank you King Bowser!” “Yeah, thanks.” Boom Boom says. Bowser grumbles a bit. “Yeah, Yeah, just get back to your rooms, and be ready for the next time that pesky plumber Mario shows up. GOT IT!” He shouts as he slams his hand on the armrest of the throne. “Yes sir” Boom Boom and Pom Pom simultaneously state as they salute. Later that night Boom Boom was in his room playfully teasing his Goomba servant. “Lick em.” he states as he faces his powerful feet towards the Goomba and taps its face. The Goomba nods and obeys, it begins to softly lick Boom Boom’s hefty soles. In Pom Pom’s room she was receiving a gentle foot massage from her Goomba servant. “Now I could get used to this.” She says. Meanwhile, VaXen was found still talking with Bowser. He says “Well, Bowser, I hope I’ve appeased you sir.” “You have indeed VaXen, but what are you going to do now?” The Koopa King asks. “Oh nothing, but I do need to check on a little kitty.” With those words VaXen leaves Bowser’s Castle. Out of the gates, he parted with the castle towards a new future, hoping to train others as well.
