During the eventful year of 1916, at the height of World War I, the American vigilantess known as The Shadowvixen (secretly publishing heiress and progressive reformer Jennifer Sherwood) had occasion to team up with London's own resident heroine, Lady Britannia, to thwart a deadly threat to the Allied war effort.
Here The Shadowvixen approaches her English partner with a Lewis machine gun removed from her Stutz Bearcat. Knowing who they're up against, it only makes sense to bring enough gun for the job.

Hope she can handle it.
Back on my basic training course we got to fire the C-7 (M-16) on auto at the fifty meter mark. The normal firing berms are at every 100 meters. One of the soldiers, a woman, was a bit smaller than the norm.
So getting to the obvious point, the gun pushed her over. If a weapon that small can push on a small person, that beast might kick more than she expects on the first round.

Pushed her over?
What was she, Four foot nothing and 100 pounds soaking wet with full kit?
Now I'm imagining her prone. Fires off a round and she gets rocketed backwards while the bullet hovers in the air before plopping to the ground.

Seems like she's prepared for hard driving, too. I spot a second spare tire on that car.
