Breaker Pangolin
The robot master Breaker Pangolin with destructive powers beyond imagination powered by pure anger that Megaman X and Megaman Zero luckily never had to face before! But if they did it would definitely be their undoing!
...
Well maybe.
Birthday gift for the amazing artist Breaker Pangolin that can be found here https://twitter.com/BreakerPangolin and here http://breakerpangolin.tumblr.com. Started following his works a lil while ago and it's pretty darn incredible. I do like this character, I liked mechs and other robot things before I liked furries so this fills that interest of mine well. He seemed to not feel well about his birthday and a lot of other things so hope this cheers him up a bit.
This piece took me 4 days of work, I would guess around 15hours, more most likely. I learned 2 things with this.
First, I simplified the figure to a plane between perspective lines coming from the top left rather than a box. This helped me get the basic figure down exactly where I wanted him.
Second, I used layers for this drawing, that being 2 sheets of paper taped over my window. This way the outside light shined through the papers so I could easily follow the initial drawing I made, this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26109991/ and draw the lines much finer on the top piece of paper. This makes for much finer lines and costs me less time as I used to draw everything from start to finish on the same sheet of paper which is extremely time consuming.
I still would prefer having a drawing light box.
Actually another point is that I wanted to fill in the background, make it slightly darker so the lightning would be noticeable but whichever way I work I only get thin lines from my pencils. The result is that it's extremely uneven maybe something like powdered charcoal would help for that?
