When and If I go, I hope they"ll have a job for me up there.
Don"t worry Folks. Just a piece of "Vent Art" here.

Well, I've ALMOST made it a year past 60. Most of us Vulpines go at that age, but the Ornery and Irascible ones have gotten to live into their late 80s.
Yes. Of course. I'd miss discussing German toys, train sets and other interesting things with you.
I might have to see if I can sign up for the Imaginary Creatures Development Department. Ever see a Platypus? Yo!!
Hell (Ha!), there's bound to be railways up there. Place is likely pretty big, and Heaven's ATC would go nuts with everyone flying around with no flightplans.
(Cups hand over mouth.) Kccch! Angel's flight group 3. Note that traffic ahead is indicated two nautical miles from your position. Over.
(AFG3) Roger HATC 2 we have them on Visual. Advise? Over.
(HATC2) Roger AFG3. Drop down to about 30,000 feet and watch out for that great big star they're carrying. Over.
(AFG3) Roger HATG2. Will descend and take extra care around that star. We wouldn't want to ruin the big shindig planned for December 24th. Over.

Ah Yeah. That's why I added "Vent Art" to the description.
I feel you would get more than just that... But this picture is making me worried about you now :(
Hey. I'm worried about Me too. But for now I'm okay. Just feeling the "The Holidays are here and I ain't got no job" Blues.
Heh... Yeah. Ya gotta work from the Bottom up, but the view makes it all worth while.
Skittles?
Skittles?
Heh! More like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntq9rzTPyVU Only the Technicolour goop is in the sky.
Hey! A Harmon - Ising Classic! I just had to watch it again, and I noticed the great little touches that spoke of the industrial practices of the time. Some of the Dwarves... (I think.) can be seen stoking a furnace, and of course the color stamping mill is technically spot on.
Don't know if I must cry or laugh, if I must take it at first or second degree...
But I always find something to think about in your pics.
That's just excellent.

Ah. Rigole s'il te plait. Apr'es tout c'est une bande dessinee.
Oh I plan to. And along the way I might just lessen the Suffering.
It's just around the corner...
A job that is XD
A job that is XD
I appreciate your confidence. Let's hope I won't have to work in the War industry though.
I know how that feels my friend... The cruel reality is we have to keep moving forward till that time.
There might be a lot of "Slop" in the ol' Engine, but I can still get 12 knots out of the thing. I'll keep moving until I drop.
You seem to have the same attitude I have. Earlier in life there was a time I didn't care if I lived or died... Now the only way is the Goddess is getting me out of here kicking and fighting like hell. The only exception will be if she comes to me and tells me my time here is done.
Twelve knots you say... WOW at times I'm lucky to make three!

Twelve knots... three??? I'm flank speed ahead and the icebergs are passing me by...
Considering the number of stars in the observable universe, I would say "job security" would be an understatement.
Oh heck. Just in this galaxy alone... (Tink!) Okay. One down, 400, 000,000,000 to go...
That was an OLD movie. Nice to see you working the old stuff again.
Actually, I just finished this image Friday morning. Still, it's encouraging to know someone else had seen that movie about a merry go round and two star crossed lovers.
*chuckles* this reminds me of the king from zelda saying "mah boooi" ;3
I had to YouTube that one. I didn't even know they made an animated version of Zelda.
Thanks. ...And sorry for bringing you down. Hopefully I'll make up for it soon.
they make you one of the regular chief artists *shi nods* :) because you a wonderful man and give you all the hugs like so! *gives a hug*
All of a sudden it felt like every Chakat in the Fandom gave me a psychic hug. Thanks.
because sir :) we all care for you and thank you for all you have done *gives you more hugs and purrrrrs deeply* so take as many hugs as you need ^.^ we are happy to give em!
I was without internet yesterday as I was getting services swapped over to the house. Very cool. I think I will color this for you. (with your permission)
Oh yes! Of course! Could you put a gradation from light blue to dark in the sky so the stars will stand out? I'll leave the rest to you.
Here it is... a quick coloring. I didn't go overboard with the shading as I thought that would detract from it. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/25648980/
Gahhhh~ sir fox this is hilarious but also makes me so sad to see! I'm rooting for you guy
Thanks ArtisticLeo. Things will get better, and I'm counting on it.
Here's hoping you aren't waiting that long either! That said, I have enjoyed seeing some more of your art (as I finally plow through my backlog).

I just really, really, really wish I hadn't lost my artistic drive. I got to a point where I felt I couldn't do it any more and hurt a lot of people in flat out quitting. The healing process has been slow, and the path back to where I was is closed. I have to continue on somehow and try to rebuild myself again.
That is one reason I struggle to keep writing my stories as challenging as that is. I don't ever want to lose it like that. You can recover the threads, and while you may not get back to where you were, you might find some place even more interesting!

Do Everything you can NOW so you won't be forgotten tomorrow. I have stood with my toes on the edge for about a year now, and I use my art on FA and that I share with my friends to keep me anchored in place.
I'm not worried about being forgotten. Right now I'm focused on being a good Dad for my little girl. And doing my best to be a good friend with what little time I have left to me each day.

It doesn't have to be totally sad. After all, Mr. Foxy got a nice job in a decent place. Otherwise, he might end up shoveling coal or filling out endless forms in the other place.
*offers a chakat hug for all of your hard, dedicated work* I wish to you a long, happy life to a 100.
I would REALLY like to live to live to 100 just so I could see the centennial celebration of the armistice of World War 2, and if I make it to 108, I'd sure like to tell them how they got those ideas of the American moon landing all wrong.
I know the feeling. I can only think of Peter Gabrial. "Moved on to another town—Tried hard to settle down.
For every job, so many men... So many men no-one needs."
For every job, so many men... So many men no-one needs."
I Wanted to reply to this comment much sooner, but circumstances prevented me from doing so. First of all, I appreciate you're using the quote from Peter Gabriel's song titled "Don't give up" as it reflects well on my current situation. For the last twelve years I have been moving from town to town, city to city, but never leaving the State of California, and finding the situation just about the same no matter where I go. The greatest problem in this area around Los Angeles is that the rules of the "Job Game" have changed drastically in the past twenty years, and unfortunately the employers seem only interested in hiring those they can make the most money with. Life has gotten "Cheap" here in Southern California, and almost every employer believes that for every worker who fails, they can get at least a dozen more to fill the gap. (Recently a hamburger joint opened up in old town Pasadena, and they advertised for a cook's helper position. They got at least several hundred applications for the one job.) I figure the only thing that's gonna save my sorry tail now is to Create my own job, or come up with some new fad that everybody wants.
So I'll keep looking, and I won't give up.

There will always be a place for you. We're all in this together. I have a small piece of your art in my gallery, and when my gaze drifts to it, I can't help but crack a smile, outwardly or inside of me. Thank you, for sharing a little bit of your humor!
It always pleases me to know I made someone laugh somewhere with my silly little scribbles. Thank you.
Oh I am sure they have a job for me in Hell when I go. Devil loves company and has need of as many evil helpers as he can get.
Oh wait... no. I go to Valhalla, so that´s only drinking, eating and partying for me.

It might not be so bad in Valhalla if they've got motorcycles up there.
Well, you are supposed to enjoy it there. So I am sure they can get you whatever you want.
Well, they have the human kind of Valkyries, why not the Honda kind too? (and if they have one variety of motorcycle, might as well have them all!)
I once fancied the idea of a story about Pilot arriving in the next world to find his P-51 Mustang waiting for him. After donning the jacket, gloves and helmet that were placed on the seat, he took off and flew the aircraft flawlessly, taking it through maneuvers and literally "Dancing in the sky" with the plane. After landing, he patted the aircraft and turned to his spirit guide and thanked him. It seemed that even though he was granted the powers of flight and instant transportation in the next world, he just wanted to enjoy one last flight in a more "Conventional" way.
So why not? I'm still stuck on the Honda Gold Wing, but I'd sure like to try one of those Zundapp or BMWs with opposed 4 cylinder engines to se how well they perform.

That's beautiful! I imagine many who appreciate the synergy between man and machine would feel similarly.
I like flat-fours, though I only have experience with VW ones currently, I imagine they could be pretty peppy in motorcycle form!
Edit- Oop, almost forgot, you'd probably enjoy reading this blog of a veteran biker fellow (who is also restoring a Victorian house) http://lifeisaroad.com/blog/ Nice fellow, has a lot of fascinating stories of life on the road! Also a comic illustrated by RHJunior: http://theoldvictorianwebcomic.com/

Ooooh! I HAD to bookmark that RHJunior site. It looks like I'll have a lot of comics to catch up with on reading. Besides... How many strips are out there featuring a couple composed of an Otter and a Wolf?
Yeah! They're a fun couple! RHJunior's home site has a bunch of other fun comics too, if you like the art-style! I could recommend enough comics to keep you reading all day, but i'll keep it to two here on FA for now: The Out Of Placers by Valsalia https://www.furaffinity.net/user/valsalia/ and the comic inspired by OOPs, Chasing Bolide by Shard of Confusion https://www.furaffinity.net/user/shardofconfusion/ I don't know if you'd heard of Yinglets yet, but they feature in both comics! Enjoy!
YeeEEeeee..! Yes. I've been following Valsalia and the "Out of Placers" comics for about two years now. There's several characters that I look forward to reading of their continued adventures. These include a Human Warrior transformed into a dragon maid, another human transformed into a feline creature, and most of all, I'm intrigued by the Yinglets.
Wow, that's so much like me, that I don't even know what more to say...
Well... Try "I'm not gonna give up." Or perhaps, "I won't let them Win!" I drew this image mainly to help "Blow off a little Steam," that's all.
Sure, I know! No hard feelings here (well, sometimes...). But with the more humorous interpretation of it I can identify completely.
Looking back at this, taint mah religon so I aint gonna be usin up no Brasso ahn old t-shits polishing no stars. To each their own.
Haaanh. It beats being "Vice president in charge of Nothing". Strange. I just had a conversation with my brother recently where I said I wouldn't want to live for "Eternity" unless I could do something important like catalog the people in the Milky way or build a mountain range. I couldn't just sit on a cloud through the eons and play the harp.
Q, a very boring people with delusions of grandeur.
reminds me a thing a told pops
"would you rather live a day, or sleep an eternity?"
