Private Parties
By: Jay Ednor
It had been a long afternoon, and Jag was nearing his limit. Cleaning, pushing, scrubbing, preparing, walking, all of it was putting a strain on the jaguar. He was nearly dragging his feet while he pressed the couch against the wall, giving more floor space in the living room for the eventual guests that would fill in within the next few hours. His birthday get together seemed to get larger every year, and it was to the point that some of his friends would show up the day before, spend the night, and then help get things ready for the evening ahead. This year there was some extra help, so the feline figured there was no harm in letting himself take a quick break.
Jag stretched his arms over his head with lazy sigh only to flop on the couch. He rubbed his forehead while grumbling to himself, even as one of his friends passed him, carrying a large punch bowl.
“Hey, no slacking now,” the skunk chuckled while he set the bowl down. “You can’t be that tired already, the day isn’t even over and the pizza isn’t here.”
Jag grunted at first, but after a deep breath he sprung back to his feet, looking renewed and ready to work. “That’s right! You guys can’t manage without me, heheh! This is always my least favorite part though, clean up is so much easier because you can just throw stuff away.”
“Yeah throw stuff away, stuff everything else into closets, and then next year it’s a hassle getting everything ready for yet another party.”
The feline rubbed his chin in thought as he heard that, and offered a slight nod. “Sounds about right, skunkers.”
Jay rolled his eyes, but couldn’t keep from grinning while he continued about the preparations. Already, the living room had been cleaned and decorated with streamers, but the snack and beverage table was still empty save for the large punch bowl. Things were looking neatly organized, ahead of schedule even, all thanks to the friends that decided to show up early to the annual celebration. There were a few lollygagging and socializing, one was frequenting his phone, but the remainder were assisting the jaguar and skunk with the foundation that would make for an entertaining and engaging night.
Jag’s slender tail gave a slight twitch while he eyed the punch bowl, already a sly plot was building in the depths of his mind. There was a knowing frown tossed his way from the skunk, but the black cat quickly changed his expression to a more innocent one and offered a nonchalant whistling.
“Anyway, you’re not going to be on beverage duty. I shouldn’t have to explain why at this point.”
There was a feigned gasp of shock before Jag managed to speak, “What? Whhhhy not? You know I make the best booze and the best punch and everything.”
“Yeah yeah, seriously though, I don’t want to drink anything /weird/.”
The jaguar kept his innocent visage while he walked past the mephit and bumped their hips together playfully. “Sure sure, I won’t make anything /weird/. I mean, my pockets are even empty!” As a show of good faith, Jag turned his pockets inside out, showing he was not smuggling anything suspicious.
Still, Jay looked less than pleased, but he waved it off. “Just don’t get in over your head, I’m going to check out the upstairs bathroom, make sure it’s clean in case anyone wanders up there. Guess I’ll be by your bedroom too, you need anything?”
Jag’s attention was already focused on someone else as a helpful, gray wolf carried a large collection of plastic plates and cups. “Uhh, no I think I’m okay. Just going to make things look nice, then I’m gonna start on the punch.”
“You know you can wait, there’s still like, 4 hours until anyone is about to show up? Try not to guzzle it all down, booze cat.”
The jaguar snickered at that comment and watched his black and white friend make his way from the living room and upstairs. Jag decided to head into the kitchen, checking in on his friends, and not realizing that one of them was making their way up the steps after the skunk.
Once he finally had a moment to himself, Jay let out a heavy sigh and rolled his shoulders. Another year, another party, another evening of potential shenanigans, but still he was looking forward to the possibilities. He checked the upstairs bathroom, rarely used, but still in pristine condition as there were guests to impress. Just as he made his way out of the door, he nearly ran into a torso, much to his surprise.
Jay was startled, but managed to keep balance and just a bit of dignity while he glanced up to see just who was standing in front of him. He recognized the coloration and the shape just fine, it was the size that threw him off. Normally, the fuzzy dragon didn’t quite tower over him, leaving the skunk below the other male’s torso. Still, he did his best to stand up tall and maintain composure.
“And just where were you sneaking off to, skunky?” Shirou asked, the red drake leaned against the door frame, his tail lazily brushed the floor.
“Well, nowhere really, just checking things up here. When did you get here though? You think I would have noticed you wandering in, something about you just seems different.”
“Different?” The dragon snickered and crossed his arms over his chest. “Whatever do you mean?”
Jay squinted and did a quick visual scan, nothing looked wrong, other than the fact he did not recall Shirou being taller than him to such a degree. “I mean you’re big, well bigger now, but whatever, weirder things and all that,” he waved that off and stepped past the dragon. “I guess I should just chalk that up to dragon stuff? Guess it makes it easier to put up decorations and stuff.”
“Makes it easier to do all kinds of stuff,” Shirou grinned. “Figured I would follow you, see why you were sneaking away. You know, stuff.”
There was a slight pause, the grin was making the skunk feel slightly uneasy. “I, I suppose so! Now you went from being regular cute to big and cute, but since I’m up here I guess I should just go ahead and check the bedroom, need to make sure the coats or whatever have someplace to go.” Jay shrugged, “That’s a thing right?”
Shirou laughed at that, “Maybe it is, lead the way and I’ll just follow.”
Having company with him while he did his upstairs check left the skunk feeling just a little uneasy. Normally he was comfortable around the fuzzy dragon, but having to look up to him left the mephit feeling...off. “Well hey if you want to, but I figure things are going to be more interesting with Jag. He’s getting all the snacks and stuff ready, getting the booze and stuff organized.”
“Oh, well I don’t drink alcohol,” the dragon mentioned while he followed the skunk to the bedroom. “As for snacks, well, those are nice, but I was looking for something more filling.”
The fur on the back of the skunk’s neck stood up on end once he realized that he had worked himself into a corner, as Shirou was standing in front of the only exit. “Going to have to wait for pizza then, unless there’s chicken wings and what not. I mean, you know, party food.”
There was an awkward pause, Jay was searching for words while Shirou kept a toothy smirk on his muzzle and stood close to the skunk, looming over him with his presence and his size. “Yeah, party food,” the dragon casually ran one of his hands along his stomach. “Maybe I’ll get some of those a bit later, for right now...there’s something else I have in mind.”
Jay nearly stumbled backwards as he heard this, the air felt heavy and his face was almost on fire. He missed his step and ended up flopping back onto the bed, but soon Shirou was on top of him, with both of his hands pinning the smaller male down by his shoulders.
“Jay, you look so flustered by this,” the dragon teased and brought his muzzle in close, the heat from his breath tickled the mephit’s cheek and neck. His efforts earned a shudder from the monochrome male who merely whined in response and offered a slow squirm.
“I, I mean...you’re just so-”
“So what? Hungry?” Shirou asked while he drew his tongue along the skunk’s neck, exciting him to gasp in response. “Mmm, but what a coincidence, you’re tasty.”
Jay’s heart raced while he meekly pressed up against his friend, trying to regain any ounce of composure available. “Q-Quit teasing me like this! You know it’s...it’s…”
“It’s what?” The dragon interrupted and worked his tongue along the mephit’s face this time, coaxing him to shudder. “Mmm, it is after lunch time now that I think about it.”
“S-Shirou…”
The dragon offered a commanding, but still playful growl while he licked at the skunk’s lips. “Shh, it’s rude to talk when I’m eating.”
Shirou dragged his tongue along Jay’s face, stealing a taste of the downed male who was all but submitting at this point. He nearly groaned out while the flavors tickled his taste buds and stomach offered an annoyed, impatient growl. “Good skunk…” The dragon’s jaws spread, swallowing up the soft whimper that escaped the downed male with a slight grin in the corner of his mouth forming. Jay’s toes splayed out, but he offered a weak moan of submission as the wet slurps drowned out his voice, much to the delight of the hungry dragon.
Hours passed, and Jag was left to do the finer details by himself. Snacks, beverages, more guests, and eventually the pizza arrived, all were neatly organized without the assistance of a certain skunk. Thankfully, he was already used to moving about on his own and controlling things at his pace, so the flow of the party wasn’t broken and before he knew it, the jaguar was already on his fourth drink, but only slightly buzzed. He laughed, he socialized, he dropped a slice of pizza, but nothing was going to bring his mood down. His friends and guests became more comfortable, and before he knew it, the jaguar was slumped down on his couch once again. After a long stretch of his arms and legs, he noticed Forest making himself busy over by the drink table, which struck him odd because he thought they would have run out of supplies for punch by then.
“Here you go!”
The jaguar could barely register what was going on, but he had a fresh beverage in hand and without a second thought began to drink. There was a satisfied purr as he tasted his drink, but an unnatural tingling began to work its way down his throat and his eyes widened. In a reflex, Jag swallowed and ended up coughing. He shook his head and looked down at the red cup and peered at the contents. Even with the party high still flowing through him, he knew that his /secret/ supplies had yet to be used...unless. He wiped his mouth and made his way to the other end of the room without a second thought.
“Hey, uhm, Forest, did you make this?” Jag kept his voice down as he addressed the grey wolf who was stirring the ladle in the sizable punch bowl.
“Yeah I did!” The wolf responded cheerfully, his tail wagging, “Do you like it?”
“It’s, it’s good, but I was wondering, did you add anything...extra?”
The wolf paused. “I just used the recipe you left behind! It was the one in the kitchen.”
“My recipe?”
“Yeah, it had the recipe and a few flavor vials, everything else I had to get from the fridge or the cupboards.”
“Flavor vials?” Jag felt his heart sink.
“Uh huh? Glass tubes, colorful, I haven’t tried any yet, but people seem to be liking it!” The cheerful wolf resumed his duties of being helpful. “Is there something wrong?”
A familiar tingling sensation warmed the jaguar’s insides as he placed the half full cup on the table and sighed. “Uhm, n-no! Everything is fine, just fine,” he laughed uneasily and rubbed along his temple. Due to Jay vanishing, the feline had to pick up all of the slack and ended up forgetting to properly hide the /surprise/ he was waiting to use later in the evening. “Oh, uhm, how about you take care of things here for me, and I’ll be right back, have to check on something!”
Before there was a response, Jag had already deftly moved through the crowd of guests and silently meandered upstairs. Already, his clothes had become more loose and he nearly ended up tripping over himself as his pants slipped down his hips. He was rapidly losing size, but he managed to open the door to his bedroom just before he fell onto the floor in a flustered heap. Thankfully, the tingling sensation was beginning to wane, just as he was barely under three feet tall. Jag sighed, he was lucky that he didn’t down his beverage entirely, but he discarded his clothing and gave himself a shake to orient himself again. He knew that things could have been much worse, but at the very least he didn’t end up shrinking in front of a crowd, and he didn’t consume the entire cup.
“Next time I’m going to have to hide it better,” he grunted and shook his head. “Who just goes through cupboards and follows instructions like that anyway?” There was no point in being frustrated, the worst was behind him and after a few minutes he would be able to rejoin the party and tease anyone else who had drank the punch, which was of course the main event.
“Okay, just need to find the antidote, should be in the closet, no wait it’s under the bed,” Jag mumbled to himself, grateful that no one followed him up the stairs. Just as he made his way across the room and over to his bed he heard a loud groan followed by a series of rustling that made him freeze where he stood. A familiar dread started to envelope the jaguar; he knew he was not alone. He noticed that there was another pair of discarded clothing, which looked familiar, but he was not in the proper mindset to match its owner.
“Bhurrrrph~!”
Jag yelped as the room shook with that sudden belch, but he quickly covered his mouth afterwards. The rustling became more pronounced, and the slumbering figure on his bed rose and let out a lazy yawn.
“Mmm, must have dozed off,” Shirou muttered under his breath. He noticed that the door was open and there was a diminutive feline standing next to the dresser.
“Sh-Shirou? Oh good, it’s, it’s just you! Hah, I had wondered where you went, guess you must have fallen asleep.” Jag laughed nervously, he decided to forgo any notion of stealth since the dragon had already noticed him. He only needed to get underneath his bed, where one of his emergency stashes was waiting.
“I guess I did,” the dragon chuckled and moved to leave the bed, he stood tall, taller than usual when compared to the black feline. Shirou lazily gave his stomach a rub, which looked a good deal rounded and softer than a few hours ago. His other hand casually picked at his teeth while a quiet gurgle emitted from his gut.
Jag slowly processed his options, and all he could do was hope that Shirou would let him by. “Well, the party is still going on downstairs! There’s pizza and drinks and chips and all sorts of stuff! I just gotta take care of something, then I’ll be back down to mingle.”
“Why are you so small?”
“Huh?”
Shirou laughed and squatted down to get a better look at the feline. “You, why are you so small? Don’t tell me you’re tossing shrinking stuff into drinks again are you?”
“No it wasn’t me! I swear! And uhm, I might be the only one who was…” he gave up on that thought and waved his hands dismissively. “It’s okay, I can fix everything, just need to find my backup supplies.”
“You don’t like being this size? But you’re almost perfect,” Shirou slowly cleaned along his lips with his tongue before continuing. “I was looking for a snack.”
Jag’s eyes widened and he backed up into his dresser in a clumsy attempt to put more space between him and the hungry dragon.
“B-But there’s all kinds of food and stuff downstairs! You don’t need to be eating me, especially because it’s my party!”
Shirou loomed in close, he was still rather quick despite how small the jaguar was and snagged the cat by his middle and pulled him in close. “There’s a party in my belly already! Jay has been having a good time in there for a while now,” he commented that while his pudgy stomach groaned and a hot, skunk-scented belch washed out from his jaws and blanketed over Jag’s face in a heavy haze.
The trapped feline groaned and squirmed weakly, the overwhelming heat and fumes from the hungry maw made him feel dizzy even as his feet meekly squirmed. “G-Grah, Jay? C’mon Shirou, you don’t gotta-”
“Mmm, yes I do, it’d be a shame to keep you two separated on your big day,” the dragon interrupted before his tongue messily slopped over Jag’s face, painting the black fur in a thin layer of gooey saliva. Shirou groaned happily and repeatedly licked over his latest catch, even as it squirmed helplessly in his clutches.
Jag could barely could barely see through the gooey drool, but his world was beginning to go dark as the advancing jaws closed around his head. Lips sealed around his shoulders and the lewd suckling began, eliciting weakened twists and squirms but ultimately there was no stopping the ravenous intent. A loud, wet slurping noise accompanied Jag on his venture into the depths of Shirou’s gullet. The intense heat and muggy scent of skunk grew stronger as the flexing flesh took hold of its treat and began to steal him deeper into the eager esophagus.
Loud, pleasured murmurs erupted around Jag’s head, it was clear that his ravenous friend was enjoying his treat. The slimy throat kneaded and churned with such possessive need that even if the feline were at his proper height escape would have been unlikely. His feet squirmed, dangling helplessly while his shoulders and chest were claimed with a hearty gulp and a muffled groan. Each inch of the dragon’s esophagus was coated with warm slime while the scents of his friend mixed in with predatory fumes only grew stronger. The world around him tightened and squeezed on his diminutive form, drawing him deeper into the ravenous abyss as Shirou loudly approved of the feline’s succulent tastes and helpless squirms. Jag remained dazed while the loud gurgling of his party guest’s stomach grew louder and wetter in preparation for him.
The feline’s hips and thighs slipped into Shirou’s jaws and throat without issue, even as the jaguar tried to fight the constricting folds and gravity at the same time, but he ultimately failed. Down, down Jag sank into the food pit, whimpering and whining as he clumsily tried to push against the descent of the rippling esophagus that held him so securely. He came to a mild halt, a blockade stopped him momentarily. Though the feline tried in vain to refuse, the stomach sphincter opened up to accept him, properly transitioning the spotty cat into dragon food proper. With a weakened sigh, his shrunken form sank into Shirou’s stomach, submerged momentarily in a pool of gooey fluids while the heavy scents wafted all around him. His feet and tail soon joined him as he was forced to curl up in the belly of the greedy dragon who let out a loud sigh overhead and gave his belly a proud squeeze.
“Mmm, there we go, both of the birthday boys,” Shirou grinned and licked at the back of his teeth. “So tasty too, should have parties like this more urrrrppph, often!” He laughed to himself after the belch escaped his lips, but tightening the world around Jag earned him a few more helpless squirms and wiggles. “Heheh, go on and settle, guess I might as well see how the party is going on after all.”
“Shirou! You can’t just, huff, c’mon I’m not just party food…” Jag tried to push out with his hands and feet, though they practically sank into the squishy folds that began to squeeze and churn over him.
“You’re more than a snack at least, but I’m still hungry. I already told you to settle down, but if you keep squirming, well that will just make me hungrier,” the dragon teased in response and picked at his teeth.
Locked in the hot, muggy darkness the jaguar started to feel weak. His body was being sapped of his remaining strength while his slime soaked body struggled to budge against the pulsating world that rocked and sloshed lazily, giving him a rather firm squeeze every so often. He felt Shirou move all around him, the dragon had just casually taken advantage of the situation and now he was going to enjoy the party Jag spent all day working on! The stomach fluids continued to soak into his body, exciting him to whine and grumble as he felt the occasional bounce and throb. Shirou must have been walking downstairs, the greedy fiend he thought to himself! Jag pushed out again, trying to get someone’s attention, possibly they could have worked to free him, but instead of hearing his name or anyone taking notice, the jaguar was given company in the belly of the beast.
Shirou mindlessly snacked on pizza, chips, cupcakes, anything he could get his hands on, much to the dismay of the birthday cat. Jag sighed, barely with enough room to twist and squirm in the depths of the chamber before long as he started to feel more and more tired. He was starting to get overwhelmed with the volume of other, less lively food stuffs, though they seemed to break down faster than he was, but added to the heavy scent already wafting about. A strange mixture of pizza, sweets, and skunk, it was enough to make the jaguar cough and groan as he stewed about in the muck.
“Mrmph, dang it Skunky, you could have at least not made him hungry so quickly,” he grumbled while a rumbling groan vibrated his dark, organic space. Jag gave into his fate, having no choice while the dragon continued to simply snack with seemingly reckless abandon, though he seemed to be avoiding the punch.
“Oh there he is, Shirou, where did you get off to? I swear you just vanished.”
The dragon perked as he was regarded, but he gave his stomach a knowing pat while stifling a belch. “I’ve been around, y’know, keeping busy. Did I miss much?”
There seemed to be some laughter going on in the other side of the room, but the party guest cozied up to the dragon. “Jag is missing, I think he spiked the punch, a few people have been shrinking and what not, you know, Jag stuff. Guess that means there’s more snacks, but I haven’t seen the skunk at all.”
Shirou belched again, already reaching for more goodies to snack on, apparently dodging the punch was just second nature for him at parties like these. “More snacks is always good, I don’t know what it is, but I’m just so hungry today,” he chuckled that last bit to himself.
“Go on and help yourself, I guess that means I’m kinda in charge until someone spots the spotty cat. Let me know if you see him or anything,” the party guest leaned over to respond to another bit of commotion. “You really should put a warning sign somewhere, or people are gonna keep drinking it, unless they’re doing it on purpose now!”
Shirou polished his teeth with a satisfied sigh as he finished the remains of another pizza. He mostly ignored the crowd going about their business until he realized that there wasn’t much of anything leftover. Still, due to Jag’s diminutive size he was still hungry for /more/ and hearing of other potential snacks caused his gut to emit a greedy rumble while it muffled the feline inside. There were a few familiar faces, but the one that caught his eye was a coyote on the other side of the room. He wiped his mouth and gave his hips a slow sway, he felt he had more than earned a dessert.
