thier eyes tell me
I live in a world full ofpeople that do things I never will do.
I want to change the world to make it a better place.
I tell my family and friends that I'll do someing great too
though they say nothing aloud, they silently laugh in my face.
they don't know how much thier eyes can say
I look into there eyes and see the true words of thier soals
they tell me I'll change the world one fine day.
but in there eyes the think I have unreachable goals.
I found out that they don't know the voice of the eyes
it's quiet but has a distinct vouice that cannot me shut out.
they may try as they may to trick me with such lies
but the truth is wispered to me as lowed as a shout
I tell them they are my friend and I care for them so
they tell me I'm not alone, and that they care for me.
I look into thier eyes. the truth it will show.
the eyes say they it's true, and it sets my heart free.
I am bold enough to ask them what they think of the gay
they say they are ok with it, as long as it dosn't interfere
but I look at there eyes and ignore what they say.
they say "I wish they didn't exist, and I don't want them near"
I have to be stone faced or I'll lose my friends
I'm crying inside but I don't let it show
if I tell them the truth, then our friendship here ends
not suprisingly they ask why I wanted to know
I knew this would happen so I had prepared an excuse
"my religiouse backround says it's wrong. I asked if you believe too."
they buy my plan b and my hanging rope becomes loose
they then go on to the next thing as I'm glad that they do
I know if I told them that I would have no more friend
so I wrote this all down so that it may be read,
if ever one day, my life would deside to come to an end
that they'll know how I was before I was found dead.
I hope that doen't happen, at least not for some time.
I wish I'll make more friends that will love me for me.
now I am tired of making this narrative rhyme
so it's farwell for now, later I'll see thee
