I am not sure, to be honest. I moved away from where he lived and we only kept in touch on facebook, which is where I heard about it, and nobody said what happened, just that he was gone :(
This is just beautiful, tugging at the heartstrings. I'm sitting here looking at this with his last rat girl on my shoulder and it is somewhat fitting. I'd planned to nuke my submissions and it is only chance I got to see this. It's definitely him, to a t. We all miss him dearly but he is at peace. He was at peace when he went too, asleep, which was the best we could hope for with the pain he was in. Beautiful textures. I love the runes and how you handled the clouds.
Thank you... I just tried really hard to do him justice. I am glad he's not in pain anymore, I felt really bad that there wasn't more I could do, being all the way in Wisconsin with no money or means to travel. I really thought I'd see him again someday
