I love the green with the brown tones. I get this great sense of morning sunlight with a combination of... like a photo developing technique to saturate some of the colours (my tech-terms perished on this one).
Explain me something about this technique. All the woodcuts I've ever done have been pretty much one color on the matrix and then intervention over the paper. How do you go about making several passes, do you keep woodcutting over the same woodstamp or you use several ones for the different color layers?
i posted more on the technique in my journal. basically it's the same piece of wood for all cuts/colors.
I love your choice of colors on this. Your style is so well suited for woodcut, since you are the master of hatching.
