The ladies of Alpha Sigma Sigma that misbehave are subject to paddling, and this sister seems to enjoy being a bad ass indeed!

Arms are too short for the body. The rump is inconsistent; the right cheek is rounded and feminine, whereas the left one is flat and male-like. The digitigrade legs don't seem feasable at all, but rather awkward and as if they would be completely useless to stand on.
The painting on the top, by virtue of being only partly visible, makes the eye want to go off the top of the canvas.

Usually the best way to give criticism is to not just focus on the 'bad' or 'wrong' parts of the piece.
Constructive criticism to me is advice on flaws and how to improve. Glowy thoughts about how the piece works is arbitrary; for certain the artist already knows what works, but advice on what does not is not immediately apparent. I believe the goal of constructive criticism is to help the artist break through the ingrained bias they have towards their own work, which every artist has. Techniques such as viewing works via mirror image only go so far.
someone's gotta stick up for you here, I actually find myself agreeing with most of this. the drawing is ADORABLE, but Amino is right- it does have some unnatural inconsistencies regarding the anatomy. But the half-painting, honestly, doesn't bother me much, mostly because it's just a dull colour and mostly blank/faintly textured
Oh I fully agree with everything except the painting, but focusing only on the negative is an awful way to give constructive criticism :)
But, really, all he did was just NOT kiss her ass, and list the things wrong. I don't see why there has to be a teaspoon of sugar to go with something that SHOULD be taken with a grain of salt. if you really read it over, its just blunt and concise. He's not pretending he's the artists best friend or biggest fan, he's just pointing out the things that looked wrong to him.
I'm not saying that he should be kissing her ass either, but constructive criticism is an art in itself.
The blunter the criticism, the better chance the artist is just going to think he's a jerk & ignore it (at least IMO)

I can see where you're coming from, but it's HARD to find good critique when you're as good an artist and Michelle Light. almost everyone is too scared to say that there's anything wrong, there will be 50 fans to jump down your throat if you do.
I find his method of critique to be sort of passive regarding personal opinion, which I can see others interpreting as rude/un-warm. I personally would love to have this guy give me such a frank and short list of to-fix pointers on my sketch work. honest and GOOD/useful critique is very hard to find.

I like it. Hahah you could also almost play her off as a Zorse! Wonderful job on the colouring, your characters always have a sweetly soft look about them.
Good luck at AC

Then again, being a college student, it's likely she's a smart ass as well.
Ooh! Her fanny must be hurting. *leans forward and kisses her fanny, to make it better*
WOrst part is that I have a paddle like that hanging on my wall with my Unit's insignia from my time in Iraq.
I think this came out pretty neat! Looks good! Totally love the hooves!
Nice ass on that.... ass. OKay, I apologize. I had to say it.
*kisses her ass*.....so it'll fell better....at least that's the story I'm going for
heh, even the paddle says ass, cause its the greek letters for alpha and then two sigma's, which are a-s-s
Looks like that was... (Puts on sunglasses) Bad ASS. (Background: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH)
