NOTE: I DID NOT MAKE THIS ART!!!
It was made by RickGriffin.
Character belongs to me
Art by rickgriffin.
I managed to get another sketch done at Megaplex this year as well! This one by Rick Griffin, who also happened to be a Guest of Honor this year, so I think I was very lucky to have managed to have gotten a sketch.
So...I have to admit...I don't actually read his comic. I mean, I love his art, don't get me wrong. Just, you know, never really found the time to read Housepets. But I have heard of it, at least. Granted, only heard of it a few months ago. But still! Slowly but surely, my knowledge of furry stuff is growing to almost be on par with the average furry. That's good, right?
Anyways, anyways, anyways. The sketch. This was a fun one. I actually had no printed references to give the artist. So, I had to basically right down the character's description. I think based on words alone, Rick did a pretty excellent job of drawing Skips. I'd said basically just a picture of him leaning against a palm tree because why not. Despite living in Florida, I have, like, zero Florida themed pics. That needed to change. And this is close enough! Got my chee, in his shorts and hoodie, showing off a bit of paw and chest fluff. Yeah, I love this pic too much. And, hopefully, y'all do to!
