yeah, I hear you there... I have a great aunt that actually has shark syndrome, she never needs any more in-depth dental work than to simply have pulled out any damaged tooth, and then her body just does the rest on its own. she still has both live roots and tooth buds over at 80 years old.
As common as im sure this is, it's about time he pretty much is emotionally slapping himself in the face and realizing what is going on, finally seeing that was is going on is his own damn fault and not Scott. If this douche just stopped pestering and pushing the envelope with Scott, this wouldn't happen, he would still have an antler intact (although i think i heard before that antlers are common to fall off or something during a deer's life), and we could possibly get a great advance on scott and....the lion's (forgot his name) relationship.

Never fully read this comic but now I'm interested....any sexy man on man action randomly splurged in there?
No... There are some nude male shower shots in a couple of the books, and the lion and the dog do make love at one point... though the comic isn't sex heavy, it's interpersonal relationships and emotional confusion heavy.
True, it does sound like he is on the verge of a mental breakdown... or maybe even hopefully on the verge of a character breakthrough...
maybe by defying old daddy deer, and simply telling the truth, about: himself, and about what really happened, he'd finally be free of all of that pressure to conform that he must feel almost every day of his life, with having that judge(and-mental) old (show)buck as his dad.
I know: if only it were ever just that simple, right?
but then I'd bet old daddy deer-est would just disown him or some other such overreaction.

Has anyone else stopped to think about, if: Mathew really did grow up with his powerful judge of a dad always hating on gays, and homos, and talking bad things about the things that should happen to them when they are outted? the whole; lock them up for life, take their livelihoods away, or even worst; that: better yet... we could always just simply go back to stoning them in the streets!
And don't tell me that no one these days still talks like that, we all know that many do on some Fundy and Conservative TV and Radio shows.
