I"ve been afraid to tamper with Crimson for the longest time because he is my oldest oc (Four years?) and frankly, one of my best when it comes to appropriate amounts of angst.
I actually didn"t change *him* very much. The design is essentially the same- Just made the hair a smidgen darker.
His backstory has always been centered around a gratuitous amount of grumpiness (Keeping in mind that four years ago I was a pubescent pool of teenage anGST) due to his incredible discontent towards the government (TEENAGE ANNGGGSSSTT!) namely the alicorns and unicorns, and when he drinks an equally gratuitous amount of vodka, he gets pissy and drones on about those motherfuckers, with their MAAAGIC!!
Now, his name used to be "Crimson Paint" and his cutie mark was a paint splatter. Aside from being pretty fuckin" generic, it didn"t exactly fit this vodka-loving government-hating anarchist. Suffice to say...NEW NAME! Crimson Cardinal, and his cutie mark...well, he"s a journalist, hence the pen. The other symbol is a hammer. On a red pony. It took some degree of self-control to be discreet and not throw a goddamn sickle there.
