Oh my gosh these ones came out AMAZING!!! At first I thought about doing something absolutely covered in flowers and leaves, then I thought about making it look like it was made from giant leaves (kinda like the armor from the movie Epic), but then I thought about doing a stone golem kind of thing with lots of rocks and boulders. Then I thought about having crystals in the rocks, just idea after idea after idea for what to do! Eventually, I settled on this concept. It's like a stone guardian that was overgrown with moss from age, and then I incorporated a bit of fur to symbolize the connection animals have with nature. ^_^ Overall I am VERY SATISFIED with how this one came out, and it is one of the most comfortable ones to wear. I was originally planning on making hand-sewn gloves for all four pairs of gauntlets, but after doing this set I tossed that idea. Mostly because the fabric only stretches so far, and I have tiny arms. XD
The elemental gemstone is made from clear resin that was painted in layers to give a 3D effect to the symbol embedded inside it.
*I'd like to get at least $130 for these gauntlets, as they are fairly detailed. Shipping will be extra, and will be calculated based on distance. Comment below or send me a note if you are interested.
