A little doodle of an otter swimmer girl, made for my patrons on account that the otter swim team poll lost to the football champs illustration. I don't normally post doodles here, but this had some color added and seems finished enough. Isn't she a cutie?

question though, why does she wear a swim cap? otter heads are hydrodynamic as is arn't they? :O
They wouldn't need goggles either. It's more for 'decoration' in this piece. It also helps us imagine her underwater without the use of actually drawing water. It accents the poses.
Always love seeing your otters, they always make me smile even on shit days.

Your flat colours give your drawings a nice touch. (By contrast of your highly detailed shadowed ones) I like 'em both. But for speed, the flats are pretty freakin' cool bud.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE how you draw otters!! Where did you start when learning to draw them anthro like that?
I find it odd how so many furry artists will draw characters of all species with humanoid bodies except for otters, who are basically just regular otters standing on two legs, not even giving them visible breasts sometimes. By themselves they look nice, but when in the same space as other, more humanoid anthros, they look almost like another separate fantasy race, like some kind of smooth, boobless hobbits or something.
