It's actually not a misleading title.
I thought Dollie might need some kind of vehicle to get about on her own. As a rescue gynoid she's highly resistant to environmental changes (pressure, vacuum, temperature, radiation), so she can ride around something like the 'Turbofin' which doesn't offer the rider much protection from the elements.
Not sure if it'll ever actually get used in the story Dollie's a part of. It might be fun to draw up properly sometime.
I drew this before I revised Dollie's design, so she still has the red Mega Man X-style forehead crystal here. That's a redundant feature now.
Note: A gynoid is a female android (third time I've spelled this out today).

very nice concept, the only think out of place ist it being capable of firing torpedos, maybe something more rescue friendly?
I figure that torpedoes (or more specifically explosives) are sometimes necessary for rescues. If for example a cave entrance has collapsed, or perhaps a starship bulkhead or door has sealed itself shut.
I was thinking the same way as Ivanks till I thought of those examples as well here, They would only be used in last ditch situations and only in self defense, I don't figure she would be one to fire first.
The self defense part is important too - if she were to try and rescue somebody from a hostile situation involving say, space pirates, or a wild space creature - it would be better for her to have *something* to use in those situations.
It's kinda like the situation with her knife/dagger - the torpedoes seem to work against her 'lifeguard' or 'rescue' concept - until you think about how often a knife would be useful to a rescuer - for cutting material and cables, for prying open doors or control panels, etc.
The torpedoes are just a tool at her disposal - much like the knife. They're not necessarily intended for destructive purposes.

I really like this kind of a vehicle, especially the way it supports her tail when she's using it. I'm with Ivanks, though, i feel like the torpedo launcher is unnecessary, especially since that section would likely be the engine (not the thrusters); it would be perfectly fine as an intake vent.
For a vehicle that works in a vacuum (space) an intake vent would be unnecessary - because in space there's no air to take in. The vehicle would operate either off of pressurised gas/fuel cylinders, liquid fuel that converts to gas (such as that used in modern starships) or some kind of advanced (more theoretical) solid fuel that converts to a gas propellant.
It is intended to be used as a jetbike (i.e. in air-based atmospheres) - and yeah, space craft fuel isn't necessarily ideal for use outside of a vacuum - but I figure it's more straightforward to design the thing for use in space first and foremost. Also an air-based intake system wouldn't necessarily transpose ideally to a vehicle that's also intended to be used underwater - that kind of vehicle would probably benefit more from space-oriented 'closed system' propulsion. Water isn't any good for jet turbine engines.
I'd personally centralise the engine assembly - as with traditional motorbike design - so it'd be below where Dollie is seated - it's also better for weight distribution (or the centre of gravity) to have the engine block as close to the middle of the vehicle as possible. That leaves the front section available for storage or some kind of torpedo array.
Torpedoes are a necessity for a number of rescue scenarios already pointed out in my replies to other people - the general thinking is (from a rescue standpoint) if it's possible you may need something to get you out of a jam - or that may assist in a rescue scenario - it's better to have it on board the vehicle, rather than find yourself in a situation where you need the things and don't have them - because then it's too late.
The torpedoes are much like Dollie's knife - they're a *tool*, not a weapon.

Would be interesting to watch an entire team of dolphincycles mobbing a shark chopper
