Spring 2007 work- had to do it for art class. This was just the concept sketch. All freehand, no refs other than looking at my own hand (backwards from the view here at that) and that's it.
It was meant to be a large grayscale project- at the time I wanted lavender highlights in my hair, so I only colored those in with a watercolor pencil.
I'll take a picture of the large matted project. Won me a few different awards at the local art show (the finished product, not the concept sketch).
Rules for Crits:
No crits on old artwork
No crits on commissions/trades/requests/gifts/etc
No crits on 100% finalized products
Basically, if I want crits, I'll state it directly on the picture's description itself. If I don't, then just respect my wishes

some of the projects we were given in the high school art class were dumb lol I'll admit that much
I skipped on taking it senior year because all they were going to do is black and white photography. Oddly enough the class was dropped from the school all together just after I graduated.

damn well at least you graduated before they cut your classes... im a junior and theyre cutting my major art classes next year

they just cut a lot of stuff after the class of 2008 left. They are willing to cut core classes and other college-prep classes, but are NOT willing to cut ANY sports at all even if no one plays that sport. As long as there are 5 people willing to sign up for that sport, they will do everything they can to keep funding.
