The great Grey Seer of the female Skaven clan Sniek is their only link to their glorious god, the horned rat and are the only ones able to perform magic. Over all, Grey Seers hold a special place in Skaven society. Using the power granted by their profane god, they, and they alone, can interpret the Horned Rat’s will and desires. As such, they are prophets and intermediaries. Grey Seers typically counsel Warlord Clans, subtly guiding them to achieve whatever sinister plot they’ve concocted, whether it was inspired by the Horned Rat or from their own dark imaginings. Grey Seers have unmatched power, for any who oppose them are denounced as heretics and traitors, earning a swift and terrible death. Their influence and position gives these leaders a little more security and freedom than that available to other Skaven, but treachery is ingrained in this culture. With power comes resentment, rewarding no few Grey Seers with a knife in the back.

Clan sniek is lucky! According to the lore, the females of the other clans are fat, bloated baby cannons.

Yeah it is a female only clan. they chose to be an assassin clan to be even sneakier and undetected from other clans. they have to keep the a low profile because otherwise the other clans would break out into war to capture all the potential brood mothers. Rat orgres are also a quite loud creature, so they do not relay on those. also not on globadiers as well.
Of course they breed as well but not on pure force, even that females are rare. they do sneak into enemy nests to steal newborn females as well to shorten their enemies numbers as well.
Male slaves only be held temporarely to breed with, but will be killed after breeding with some girls to keep their existence a secret, in fear he could escape and share information to other clans.

I mean that the other Skaven femmes you commissioned would already make great minis. And this one would make another one.
well then if vermin tide has anything to say then even the bright wizards will have issue with dealing with that moon shield etc. but they can be taken out all the same in battle to no less.
Man-things are easy to overpover and manipulate ;3 an knive in the back and poison in the veins brings anyone powerfull down.
while that may be so how often do they fight on the front lines themselves though that is the question. also they can be sniped from a few hundred to a few thousand yards away eather by a sniper or just happened to be taken out by a lucky stray round that came flying at them.
also poison restince must be taken in to account. :P if they have moderate to high poision resitince then that is no go. :P though gernheart of the grudge givers did take out a skaven clan and was the one thing that the grey rat never saw coming at all nor took in to account at all. *nods.* so there's that also the horn rat can be taken out in battle though it would only do is send it back where it came from but to the mortal man who does it he will have fame and glory like never seen before. though with a bulls eye on his back to all of the skavin.

I dont think the technology or range of the weapons were able to shoot about 1000 yards... maybe just around 150-200 yards, but then the rounds would just be not that accurate and deadly anymore. i´m no expert in this but i doubt that. Skaven Jezzail would reach that with warp powder mixed gunpowder.
And yeah poison resistence is not that common and quite rare under people. but yeah, skaven assassins dont have armies to march into battle. that´s quite not their style.

true but with rifling and the gunnry school at nuln can make scoped rifles that can hit up to 500 yards away maybe further but with accuracy up to 500 yards away.

Well it is quite the opposite there than with all the common clans. Females dont need brood mothers. they just take turns.
But of course they have to keep a low profile not go be caught or discovered.
Sure they can be great warriors, but their scents would distract males by their tasks and females get treated as dumb and only usefull for breeding mentality.

Mostly to expand lore as well for making good relationship between strong armies.
mmmmh no that would be bad for them actualy. things could make word around and attract the attention of rival skaven clans to them.
You're not wrong, though he a king with a strong army who loves to breed - hope their is a way around so that rivals could treat his area as "breed-breed peace time".

The Wolfguys would be slaughtered in inhuman, cunning ways or just rightout backstabbed in a suitable moment and MAYBE taken a few as slaves.
Some for their own breeding. no sex for pleasure alone. if the (female) offspring proves promissig, maybe the wolf guy is kept alife for maybe 2-3 more batches of offspring. but male offspring gets disposed right away.
IF ofcourse in many cases beast races do not bring in any new offspring or no female skaven get born, they are taken off the potential breeding list and the remaining breeders get killed and eaten. or at last taken for horrible experiments for their master moulder.

Wir kennen die hohen Tiere unter Clan Sniek, doch was ist mit den niederen? Jeder Skaven- Clan nutzt Sklaven. Wenn Sniek tatsächlich nur aus Rattinnen besteht, liegt die Vermutung nahe dass dies auch auf ihre Skavensklaven zutrifft, nicht wahr?
Das stimmt, aber Skaven Sklaven sind jetzt weniger interessant, in meinen Augen. Es trifft aber zumindest zu dass Skavinnen ebenfalls als Sklaven enden können.
"Skavinnen-Sklavinnen", erreicht allmählich Zungenbrecher Qualität!😆 Aber gut zu wissen. Das ist ein Feld das bei weiblichen Skaven in eigenen Clans selten thematisiert wird. Und die Fragen die sich dann stellen. Wie, dürfen sie schwanger werden. Wenn nicht, tun sie es trotzdem. In normalen Clans dürfen ja nur die oberen sich fortpflanzen... Aber gut, das ist nicht für jeden interessant, und das ist völlig in Ordnung!
Das wird von den obrigkeit geregelt. Ähnlich wie in den anderen Clans, hat Clan Sniek Breeder-Nester mit diversen, potentiellen Männchen. Männliche Skaven jedoch werden gefangen genommen, für einen einzigen Fortpflanzungsversuch genommen und dann gnadenlos getötet, damit keinerlei chance besteht, dass ihre existenz aufgedeckt wird. daher bevorzugt der nuten Männer anderer Rassen.
Es wäre ungemein spannend, das übliche Ränkespiel für das Recht zur Paarung mal aus der anderen Perspektive zu sehen! Nicht nur weil eine Schwangerschaft die Skavin potentiell verwundbar macht, sondern auch weil, anders als bei regulären Skaven Klans, die Eigenschaften des Partners wichtig sein könnten! Normale "Brüter" sind (in den Augen der Skaven) einfach da, aber es macht wohl einen Riesenunterschied ob das gefangene Männchen, sagen wir Mal, ein Bretonischer Bauer ist, oder ein Zwergenthain, oder ein Grauer Prophet.
Ein Grauer Prophet als Gefangener wäre vieleicht eine Goldmine für den Klan, jedoch würde dieser auch nur für ein paar Paarungen herhalten, bevor er dann ohne weiteres getötet wird. Gerade ein Grauer Prophet ist da sehr gefährlich, gefangen gehalten zu werden. Alle anderen Rassen sind soweit erstmal noch harmlos und können auch locker ersetzt werden.
Der könnte ja anfangen, unter den Clanratten zu predigen... Was für Rassen haben bis jetzt als Partner funktioniert? Oh, und vielen Dank für die schnellen und informativen Antworten!
Nope, er würde ausschließlich nur zum Paaren genommen werden, die Schnauze zugebunden, vielieicht noch einen Arm abgetrennt, gefügig geschlagen, eine Klinge am Hals hehalten und nach dem paaren die Kehle durchgetrennt.
Soweit sind Menschen und Beastmen effiziente partner. Menschen sind nur am einfachsten zu kriegen oder zu verführen. Skaven sind nur die effizientesten brüter.

Was ist mit Elfen und Zwergen? Sind wahrscheinlich eher schwierig zu schnappen, ganz zu schweigen zu verführen. Andererseits könnte die magische Natur der Elfen alle möglichen Effekte mit sich bringen, und falls an der Legende von Skavor irgendwas dran ist, wären Skaven und Zwerge Verwandte.
Die sind halt zu uncooperativ. da gibts nicht viel zu sagen, dass diese halt zu widerspänstig oder selten sind um so viel aufwant auf zu bringen.
Jetzt kann man natürlich anführen dass einer der Hauptgründe für die Seltenheit von Zwergen der Umstand ist, dass der Rest der Skavenheit sie dauernd mordet... Nun ja, so ein Familienstreit kann schon übel sein!

Ziel von Clan Sniek ist es halt, den ball flach zu halten, nicht aufzufallen und kleine Sabotage-Aktionen zu führen, wie das stehlen von jungen weibchen aus anderen Nestern um nicht dem selben Brutmutter-Schicksal zu erliegen und damit die Zahlen der Brüder-Klans zu reduzieren.
Sie selbst sind zwar in der Lage zu züchten, doch töten sie jedes mänliche Nachkommen um nicht von ihrer eigenen Brut in Verraten werden zu können.
