A young gator female stretches out after waking up from a peaceful night"s sleep in her forest home.
Tied to draw out another female gator and still have a feminine look to it. Not entirely sure if I was able to get the look down or not in this drawing.
Finally got around to adding shading and shadows this time around as well. Backgrounds are something that I still need to work on a lot.

Aside from the obvious giveaway of the legs, I'd say you did a good job at making the femininity of this character still shine through in the subtle little details.
Hey man, thanks for saying so.
I've been using model reference sheets for the last few drawings which has made it a lot easier to get the body style and anatomy down better.

I've actually been using both. I've have several figure photo reference books for artist that I've started to use to get the placement of the poses and anatomy, and about 3 or 4 books over alligators and reptiles as well as a ton of picts that I've downloaded that I use to try to get the look of the head down as well as the scales and other features.
Needless to say it's a bit of a challenge to try to get the two to blend together into something that looks for the most part natural.
There's still a lot of small details that I need to get down, like the fins and the back scales, but I try to improve on every drawing that I do, so I think that I'll get it down eventually.

Nicely, nicely done, gator! I'd love to wake up with her.... Mmmm boc!
You're just getting better and more fantastic with your expressions and anatomy all the time.

You know, if you went to bed with her, I seriously doubt that she would like you get any sleep.
Dude, using those reference photos has helped out a whole lot, it's made the whole process of drawing the body and pose a lot easier. I really wish that I had started using them a long time ago.

I like to see male verison with this one has will please...
Can't promise anything at the moment, but I'll see if I can come up with a male version of this in the future.
Yours are, if not the best, among the best anthro crocs (or gators) I have ever seen. Congratulations for such an style!
Thank you very much for the complement. You sir just made my day.
Lovely, sweet pose, and great details.. like the skin on the side of the mouth. :>
Thanks, wound up using some reference models to get the pose and over all look for the body.
I think you did exceedingly well in showing femininity in a reptilian form without resorting to showing breasts etc. Ignoring the fact that the pose itself is obviously a very feminine one, the shape of the legs and curves on her body really do the job. Well done! ^..^
Thanks for the complements on this one. I was trying to pull off a female looking gator, glad that I got it to look like that. I did wind up using model photo for the over all look and pose which helped a lot.
Thanks, she really is a looker isn't she, thighs and all.
Thanks for the faves as well.

Yes, she is Bree. I love looking at a beautifully drawn Reptile lady, especially when done correctly without the mammal bits.
