Meet my new little Serama hen, the tiniest breed of chicken in the world. This is a full grown egg laying hen! LOOK AT HOW SMOLL THIS BABU IS!
And here is the rooster I got with her https://twitter.com/TheBeastcub/sta.....32088880996352

What a cutie!
I've had guinea hens (DO NOT believe what people say about them not being able to fly), barred rocks and Rhode Island reds before. How's this breed's temperament?

oh my god I want a chicken but my city won't allow them o.o' blasted city!! So cute :)
These are the kind of chickens I'd likely get, if I ever got any. They seem a lot more manageable than other breeds, as far as size goes. How big are the eggs? I bet they're tiny. :3
Awww <3 I know one other person who owns this kind of chicken, and she's the cutest little thing ever <3
So cute! Do you find her to be more feisty than the more average sized chickens? This is the case in several different kinds of mammal (at least that I've noticed) where we've bred a smaller version of something-- I wonder if it's like that with birds too? :o
I have only ever had these guys but so far, yes, yes this one hen is feisty, very tame but very growly when handled (which is cute as fluck man <3 ahhhhhhh!)
AAA YOU GOT A SILKIED SERAMA <333 she's like a fuzzy version of my Spaghetti ;u;
Who did you get her from? I've been trying to find a silkied serama breeder for the last couple years with little luck! Everyone seemed to stop breeding them a couple years back because I guess they weren't in high demand?

I found her on Craigslist from a lady in Santa Rosa California
Oh wow nice!! I'm just glad to see more people breeding them, are your babs A-class/micro?
I asked and she seemed unsure, hobby breeder not a show breeder, I want to say she's a B, lays wee little eggs hlaf the size of my Old English eggs (but one person I had here for a silkie told me my OE was big???) https://twitter.com/TheBeastcub/sta.....49467002224640
