Commission for Chet
A black and white painting. You'd think it would make it easier, and it does on some levels, but it makes it different on others. I did not have a good title for this one, so Chet actually named it for me.
Medium: Acrylic on Panel
Size: 11 in x 14 in (27.94cm x 35.56cm)
Date: June 2016

Reminds me of a past Sona of mine called BlackHammer hehe lovely art! I never can get my horse anthros right, mind if I ask what your technique is?
You mean "Anatomically"?
Make the necks long, but not feral long. Shorten the muzzle about a third while trying to keep the muzzle muscle structure. Use perspective as much as possible. Really, that is is.
*Grin*
Thank you *Bows*

Yeah anatomically hehe. Thanks for the advice I will definitely try that sometime soon! I appreciate the help so much!
Something relating to John Henry as a title would have fit perfectly. :P
I'm ready for my close up, Mr. Raccoon.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. But seriously, I don't think you know how much I love this picture. I hope it was kinda fun for you too. I'm not sure what parts were the challenging aspects, but you pulled it all off remarkably
*warm nuzzles, then looks up at the description and blushes*
Awww, I didn't get a link heh

As long as you actually do look forward to the next commission, then that's all that I can ask for. I know it is a wee bit of a restriction on your talents … but damn, you do it so well
Restriction?
I don't think so... If you think that then say, "Here is my money, here is my character, and here is all the creative freedom you want!" *Chuckles*

Well, by restriction, I meant that painting a simple muscular character isn't all that creative. I know this isn't as artistic as many artists would like to have as their subject.
Having said that though, I'm curious about what kind of things would result if I gave you total creative freedom though. *grins*

I can't answer that...
When the muse takes me, it gives little notice. I usually don't consider a painting to much until I start sketching, and looking for ideas.
Focus on the battle at hand, not the war...

Dammit. I can't wait to get a job so I can order some of these from you. Your work never fails to astonish and astound me. I would pay money to sit in a room and watch you work. I would love to be taught by you.
I'm speechless, as always at the sight of your art. Thank you for sharing it.
