As a fox, I must confess that although we did at one point receive the gift of fire, that was a very weird x-mas, and one I think we'd rather forget. The insurance claims still haven't stopped coming in.
a fantastic piece, and i just love the original with the led lights.
i was lucky enough to have the winning bid at eurofurence last year and i can still turn on the led's and just float away in the painting.
i hope to get more of your great work in august at EF.

Almost makes me think of an old tragic story about a fox vixen who took revenge on a hawk who killed her kits. She stole a burning stick from a hunters campfire and set the Hawks tree on fire, burning her and her unhatched eggs to death.
Often wonder if the story is the source of the fire fox legend...ah well.
Awesome work!

XP

Oh, wow- any chance we can get a vid or gif of it 'in action'?
I'm always amazed at how you do backgrounds. Love the coloring in general ^u^
Absolutely smitten with this piece, which goes quite fabulously with the northern lights render if I may add^^
Nice drawing there. I'm gonna show it to my friends.
OUTSTANDING use of light and richness of color! Wow!
Favorite of mine. Bought the print at AC 2023. That fox has a bit of a pyromaniac gleam in its eye, no?
