Player class artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Weavers are masters of the arcane, mages specializing in reading the cryptic wonders of the cosmos and manipulating the fabric of space and time itself - the art director requested a female Skidi calling down a rain of stars on an unseen foe.

Thank you very much! I think as a player class, they're mostly damage-dealers with some neat out of combat utility - they have divination abilities and can swap out different versions of objects from alternate realities and things like that.

Thanks a lot! Funny story about the perspective, though - it originally was drawn at an unusual angle, slightly slanted, and it confused the art director so badly I had to just draw it un-tilted. Still ended up working, though!

Heh, yeah, it looked like her one foot was raised for no reason to her. I think this turned out fine, though - probably didn't need the extra slantiness, heh.

Besides the piece just looking amazing in and of its self, The lighting, shading and glow effects just make it pop all the better.

theres a couple of characters that use a ball when fighting... namely a mage girl from SC5 and Ahri from LoL... crazy how they do good damage and other things as well :D awesome pic :3

Thanks! I'm not familiar with either of them, but I imagine it's some take on "magic crystal ball" - my favourite might still be Bowie's goblin king, haha.

Yeah, we moved away from all our other friends, but we still manage to squeeze in a Skype Pathfinder every few weeks :3

Haha, it's a bit hard for me since I don't do well if voices are at all unclear or garbled and I can't see their mouths clearly to fill in the blanks my ears missed, but it works pretty well! Basically my husband (the dm) and I have Skype on our laptops, we do a group call, and they have a webcam set up in the living room, so we can talk and see each other mostly.
that's amazing. lol. I really need to play again. I need to get my ranger class started up again. I wish I lived close to you guys so we could all play. lol. ^_^

This looks really cool. Let the rain of fire hopefully not burn to many marshmallows. however if one gets burned to much, turn back time and boom. Perfectly golden marshmallow with flaming fire. Best use of magic ever xD
