Oh hey Bob the lizard thing, how's it going? how are the wife and kids? Eaten by coyotes you say? Well, sorry to hear that Bob.
ANYWAY. Yeah, character belongs to Mir, yadda yadda. Did not mean to spend quite so much time on this when I started, but I had fun with it so I went a little crazy with the background. Mir herself could probably use a bit more shading, but i liked how the white fur made her pop out of an otherwise busy background, so I figured I'd leave it lightly shaded. Bob the lizard doesn't stand out as much as I'd like, but I'm through messing with him, I dont need to turn him into a sparkle lizard.
Maybe 6 hours? I've discovered that coffee and having shitty B monster movies playing in the background helps me draw, so maybe I'll be a bit more productive now, lol.

This is absolutely gorgeous, and yeah, the light shading on Mir is best. It does make her more of the focal point.
nicely detailed ancient forest here. housing feathered lizards apparently. :) Mir looks marvellous, relaxed and holding fast to the branch, and her clothing is gorgeous. I also love her face. :)
Oooohhh.....this is really beautiful and lively. I kinda like the forest setting and the colors you've used here.
This is fantastic work. I wouldn't even know where to begin with the praises. I love everything about it!
