He got his ability after he "died" and upon waking up. How they get their abilities was under a specific circumstance.

If he had had sex with him, he wouldnt be able to see the unicorn. Remember only virgins can see him.
If they had been in a relationship in the past then they both would have lost their virginity together then neither of them would have encountered Ciel.
I get the feeling that the whole can be seen by virgins only thing is bs and there's a more sinister objective behind the unicorn.

He seems to get fluffier and fluffier as the comic goes along. Eventually, he'll just be a thicket of neck floof with antlers. (Not that I'm complaining.)

You know what, it makes me curious if Ciel is hell touched himself, the thought just occurred to me, like that's the reason why only virgins can see him, but after the last page, i rather see Cinder get with Frost anyway, they make a cute couple ^^

So, are we going to get more background on what the Hell-Touch is? Does it always present with a fractal pattern? Man, I'm so curious about this now. XD
To answer your questions: not in this issue though I have plans for a sequel that would possibly give more Hell-Touched background, and there is usually a mark of some sort, whether it be a scar or a fractal pattern like Frost's.

I was under the impression until now that they had a rough relationship at school because Cinder had been a dick to him because he's a bully to everyone... as opposed to that they had once been closer to each other and all that. Early pages suggest (uh, as far as I remember them anyway) they don't even know each other other than from random encounters at school.

poor Cinder, I hope he and frost will get a happy ending. though i do wish they would end up together as lovers in the end too xD will that happen at all perhaps?

Both are true. They went from friends, to almost lovers, to enemies, and now back to tentative friends with lots of unspoken tension? XP I do like a redemption arc myself but I think if I'd gone that route, I would have had to start the comic earlier when the bullying was actually happening :P
