A little over three years ago my dog Buttercup died, so I decided just in the last few months to make a fursuit in memory of her, and here's the final result! :D
I've discovered though that I don't quite have the body shape to pull off a dachshund very well (I only have less than an inch between the bottom of my ribcage and the top of my hips and stupid long legs) so the dropped crotch doesn't look as dramatic as it would on someone with normal proportions. :p Meh.
She features:
- all foam head
- nose and teeth from Media
- follow-you eye blanks from Tsebresos (details by myself)
- super floppy ears
- poseable tongue
- super fitted body suit
- dropped crotch
- digi padding
- dat booty doe
- super bouncy foam-core tail
- purple collar with Buttercup's old dog tag
- doxie cuteness!

OMG its hard to believe you don't make suits all the time... because your fursuit work is so well done!
Thank you! I've actually made quite a few fursuits in the past (I think it's something like 25 now) and lately I've been working on suits every few months over the last two years.

Aww, it's sad to hear that you also lost your dachshund, even though it is over 3 years ago now. I lost my beloved dachshund, Bianca, a little over a year ago, and that left her own daughter totally alone. She didn't eat a month after her death, and it was so sad to look at. :( She's fine again now, so that's at least something. ^^

Aw, I saw the same thing happen to my younger, surviving dachshund Rosie. She went through a mourning process too where she became really despondent for about a year after Buttercup died. I'm glad your doxie is doing better now. :) And thank you!
