Previously I have been using the green foam from Joann Fabrics. At Midwest Furfest, I went to a panel held by 
bycats4cats who showed us what he uses and how he carves foam for his heads. I got to touch some of this black. firmer foam myself. After using it on two pairs of footpaws, I got to use it on a head for 
KoaSilvanos. I am loving this foam, and will be using it from now on. It has just the right firmness with enough squish, and is a dream to carve. Thanks, Snapcat!

Does it fly around like the green foam does? You know, the static clinginess. Haha. What's the density compared to the green foam?
It's just as static-y as the green foam. I buy the firm kind, so it is a lot firmer than the green foam from joannes, but still has enough squish to it. I was too scared to use it until I got to poke some. I see you're gonna be at AnthrOhio. I can bring some scraps if you want to poke them. Jay the blue tiger will also have a new head made out of it for that con.
