Nah, it's hard to tell through the helmet but it's supposed to be an antelope :B

I love the colours you use in your paintings. I find it hard to know which colours go where, but you definitely know what you're doing when it comes to choosing the right ones.

Thanks a lot! A lot of it comes from referencing, but also just intuition on what looks 'right' or correct to me! I usually just muddle around until something clicks in place, and then clean up from there. :)

If the character is an antelope the helmet should be a tad longer in the front to accommodate a longer face. (I make this adjustment to my horse's helmet I figured out how to give a Fox Tennis Shoes too but that is a different accomplishment).

I was lucky in my selection of the horse in space; I used a slightly sky blue suit against a jet background with a few stars added by a technique in Photoshop using noise.

I guess it is difficult to choose what you are going to use as a good contrast when coloring space pictures, nice up view though, well done.
