Introducing my newest OC! His name is Poli Polaris. Though his name is Poli, he prefers being referred to by his surname, Polaris.

--INCOMING HUGE BLOCK OF TEXT--

He's an arctic dragon, a species capable of thriving in cold climates. That being said, that doesn't mean heat is an issue, if anything, he seems to love it despite the slight emotional and physical side effects.

He's rather down to earth, and friendly despite his icy body. He's somewhat of a physical person; which makes his thick winter clothing a life-saver to people sensitive to the cold. More than likely will be your newest buddy.

As an egg, he was separated from his family, being knocked into the sea, only to wash up on a shore faraway from there. He was only able to hatch due to his species needing cold rather than heat to develop as an egg. Not too shortly after hatching, he quickly stumbled upon a tanuki who has since raised him as his own.

He's happily adopted by Tanni, an OC that my best friend Kanny owns. ( http://jet-set-cassette-player.tumblr.com/ )

Some random trivia about the dragon himself...
*The ice horns aren't actually his real ones, if you look closely, you can see the little nubs that actually are his own. Glaciers just tend to naturally form over them. They end up thawing constantly, so their shape is never truly consistent.

*He has a dandruff problem! (It's actually snowflakes in his mane, shake his hair a little and it'll be like snow.)

*Though he enjoys the heat, he actually can't handle it. It makes him lazy and a slob, not to mention it makes his scales terribly sensitive.

*His species can innately manipulate ice, and temperature to an extent. He naturally exudes cold, so the winter clothing is to help insulate that, and to prevent having glaciers form over his body as well. He normally uses this to restrain the cold he exudes. (Normally, it's cold enough to nearly freeze water close to him; restrained, is more like a tolerable cold.)

*His weapon of choice is a streetlight, he wields it as if it were a spear, and the lantern can explode into a burst of ice when needed.
