Duuuuuude, nice artwork! The amount of detals is stunning o___o
The detailing is gorgeous and I love how you used mostly muted colors to set the tone.
Gorgeous work!

Lovely atmospheric light and shading. "Of all the places to break down....grumble, grumble......."
Well done! Keep up the great work, and give me your art powers :P
Good lord this is amazing. The lighting, the wind effect, the rain spatter detail... Holy jeebus!
"Look, pal, ya' want it ta' spin and be round and connect onta' this here, or ya' wanna get out of the rain already...?"
Love the textures and vibe! It's amazing!

Every piece by you is a treat to be savoured in all its detail and seductively understated narrative. It's wonderful. You're wonderful. :)
"It's broken, Jim! I'm a warp drive engineer, not a wainwright!"
I really enjoy this picture. First of all, the texture and obvious marks left by brushes really heighten the quality of most digital paintings like this. Sort of emulating the visible work that you get in oil or acrylic paintings, which is always a real treat. Secondly, the many details that let us add a narrative of our own. Silhouettes in the background, red lights, leathery cloaks and wooden wheels - it definitely contains enough clues to immediately set you in a time period, and a geographical place. What did you have in mind when you made it? An England, 1870s kind of deal? Did you choose the badger as a sort of rural and hardy working type? If you did, then that's something I also find interesting. Using different sorts of animals to mirror types of humans, both racially/ethnically and occupation-wise, can be really interesting (Blacksad's many different types of characters come to mind). Moreover I think the composition is excellent, I think your use of light has served its purpose very well, and critically the feeling of moisture is really well retained. :) Thank you for making this, I hope you'll draw many more. Your submissions are always my favourite to watch, so full of adventure and myth.
The only thing I regret is that they're glimpses, and I never get a context. Like if you'd done a series, or illustrated a segment from a book or similar. Anyway, yeah, cheers!

You wrote a most excellent comment to a most excellent artwork!
Thanks, that's a real nice comment! You're just about right on the setting and period. I won't say much about the characters but the Badger isn't quite the rural type in this case, maybe we'll see more about that in the next images related to this.
Context isn't something many of my pics have much of as you noticed, but there's always a story even if it's only a little part of it. So likening them to segments of a book is a good way to put it. At the same time it's worth a mention I don't aim to make images so obscure that they make no sense, that'd be boring!
I'm glad you like my work :]!
