How did you learn to make puff paws? every one seems to do them now, but I cant for the life of me find any tut to start learning from ;-;
Unfortunately I'm not the one to ask, I draft all of my patterns on paper. I went to university for costuming and have years of practical experience making costume patterns for a living before making fursuits, so my methods aren't really ones that a quick tutorial can cover unfortunately!
Oh bummer. They are so lovely. I just cant seem to figure the method out. Back to the drawing board!
Ours are stuffed lightly so it's not hard to bend the fingers and pick up things. Obviously due to the shape you have less dexterity than no gloves, but I can open doorknobs, pick up sharpies, take lids off of water bottles and many other things with them on. It isn't any harder to do things with than our flat unstuffed versions.
We're usually always opens for hands (in the styles posted on our etsy) and sleeves! I have a lot of family stuff to do over the xmas break so I'm a bit busy to do quotes just now, but contact me in the first week of January if you're interested! :)
Oh wow I really need to order a pair of these from you at some point! Would it be possible to add small claws to them?
Yes, we offer claws on these. If you look back through our gallery you'll find examples of some and we have a link to base prices in my profile link.
