Mistake I made last time was to line each part as I did it. It's far easier to sketch everything first. Once I've drawn the male body types and boob sizes most of the tedium will disappear and I'll get on with your suggestions adding other species and whatnot.
The file linked is a work in progress and for viewing only and not to be used as a base. You may not re-colour, trace, or re-upload. This is not finished quality...blah blah blahhhhhhhhhhhh
Current variables are:
- 5 Female body types
Thin
Pear
Strawberry
Hourglass
Chubby
- 2 leg types
Plantigrade
Digitigrade
- 2 Canine heads
Wild (e.g. wolf)
Lesser (e.g. domestic dog)
- 8 eye Types
- 6 ear Types
- Mouth closeup
- Crotch closeup (cus I know you guys are gonna ask for it otherwise)
Next update will hopefully have:
- 3-5 different breast sizes, fitted to each body type (no massive jugs on super thin bodies...yikes)
- Male body counterparts

It looks really good so far :3 only thing I could suggest would be maybe a 2 rounded ear types and a long ear type for rabbit(long), mouse/rat(round one), and a tiger looking one(round 2), just to cover your bases X3 but it seriously looks great, cant wait to see it done <3

I can't seem to open the preivew in SAI. It's saying that the canvas size exceeds the maximum size. :/
Although my maximum canvas size is 7987 x 7987 and yours is only 6217 x6297 > 5808 x 5808.

this is totally awesome! I'll keep an eye out to download when the guy variations come out cause I would totally love to use this for some of my OCs (they're mostly all male though unfortunately) Keep up the amazing work!

Body 4 was meant to be chubby but ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh maybe it's not pronounced enough. I like swooshy flow so chub's a bit difficult rn, so I'll take my time ahaha

This looks AMAZING so far. Just fabulous, I'm REALLY excited to see how this turns out. ^^ If I may, I'd like to suggest a few species that I either don't often see on bases, or never see on bases, making it hard to accurately make them.
-Fossa (short sim muzzle, five toes on the feet paws)
-Linsang/Civet/Gennet (long, slim, pointed muzzle, sometimes whiskers)
-Sphynx cat (very hard to make on any base due to not having any fur)
-Taurs Taurs TAURS (Centaur and naga bases can be found, but others[cattaur, wolftaur, otter taur, so on] are nearly impossible to find)
-Mantis (see
for examples)
-Monkey
-Elf (point humanoid ears are nearly impossible to find on a base)
It's up to you if you add them or not, these are just some species I'd love to see on a base and think would get you a lot of new watchers. Good luck drawing, and thank you so much for posting this. you've done GREAT work with it. ^^

A number of them are on the list, humans esp cus I actually prefer drawing them. though I gotta be honest I'm avoiding any sort of bug or taur or excessive proportions just out of personal preference.
Bases, to me, are just that, bases. Rather than a full character design suite, since I can always fall back on the 'what do you expect it's free' gambit. So for things like Linsangs and Fossa's you'd probably be making them from a hodgepodge of different features.
I'll be in a funny position where the more things I add, the more I'll be suggested to add additional niche things because holes in what this base will have get more noticable ahaha

lol you sound like me. XD I keep doing simple character designs that I don't need, just because I have the urge to create. But since I haven't plugged my tablet into my laptop in months I'm just using brushes and blurs. Because lazyyyy.

Thanks for the offer, when I release a finished build, everyone's welcome to upload and make freely available the edits/additions they make.
But as for the stuff that I would release...it's really something like is just a little project I'd like to do by myself. Working with someone I think would put far too much pressure on to make progress
