Just the pencilwork was from a camera, I inked and colored in photoshop

the only thing i'd worry about is perspective warping the image a bit, as most cameras fisheye macro shots a bit, but this looks spot on.

That otter is freaking awesome... Of course That just seems to come with the species most times. However, a wonderfully drawn navel helps... Kudos!

Okay Rick -- You draw amazing otters. From the ones in your sketchbook posts to this one, they're probably my favorite species that you draw.
Great expression and pose. You nailed the otteriness (hee... I like that word). I think that the import with the camera worked out very well and added a nice styling to the whole piece. ^_^
