My (not so new) project car!
So behold: after sitting in a shop for 4 months, I got a call a couple weeks ago saying she was ready to be picked up.
This right here is my 1988 Toyota MR2 AW11 Supercharged. Only 1600 were ever imported to the USA, and its said that only around 600 of them remain today.
I picked this up in Oklahoma last year from an older guy for about 3500, and now that it"s running, all she needs is a new E-brake cable and a speedometer cable and it"ll be ready to be inspected and registered! Best part of all: the T-Tops don"t leak! :O
Hopefully it"ll be done really soon! I"m so excited to be restoring this diamond in the rough and hope for many happy miles with it :3

I'm probably going to keep it mostly stock, but I'm definitely going to get some new wheels and seats (old ones are pretty fucked) and get some new paint on it (not sure what colour yet though). Eventually I'm also going to replace the whole bottom end of the engine, because its worn out, but the top half has already been rebuilt by the previous owner of the vehicle :3
T-tops that don't leak like a sieve? What is this sorcery?
Also the Spyder wheels swap right on and look pretty nice (In my opinion)

I'm amazed as well. It's rained the past couple days and not even a drop made it past them. The previous owner must have been a wizard 0_0
I'm probably going to look into some older style BBS wheels or some cool period-correct rally wheels for it. I'm not entirely sure yet :3
