I'm so hyped to finally reveal this one, oh man! The endlessly wonderful 
Stripetail approached me a little while ago to see if I'd be game for making the equally lovely 
Genetta a piece of gift art, and man, am I proud of how it came out. Stripe always brings really interesting and unusual ideas to the table when I work with him; he wanted a kind of floral, elegant, feminine surrealist theme going on, and I wound up pulling a lot of influence from old Mucha art in the end to achieve that. This is seriously probably one of my favorite character pieces to date. I'd love doing more along this vein sometime.

I can see the Mucha so well, but this piece is just... *drools* This anatomy, and this composition, and this smoky texture, and this zorn palette...
Holy crap this is 20 kinds of lovely. LOVE everything about it, and can totally see the Mucha influence! He's one of my fave artists ever so...I'm in love with this. XD What a wonderfully sultry pose too <3 GAH. I will totally throw moneys at you sometime to do something similar (and have equally as much fun, I hope!)...love to see more like this!

Lovely. I've become a sucker for roses lately, so this seems extra-cool for me. :)

Insanely gorgeous painting. Great color harmony, gesture, edge quality. Love the stylized critters in the background, too. Superb!
