so young and so hopeful
we keep on flying close
the deafening scream of
nature as we touch the sun
the ghost in the machine
whispers this war is won
our bones break like eggshells
there's nowhere for us left to run
Cover for the Eurofurence 21 conbook! :]

Not only you. I think, it's really a picture of it. awesome drawed.
I got the book yesterday at registration and I was blown away by the cover! Beautiful work!!!
I'm a sucker for decrepit cities and an overgrowth of foliage. Well done.
I like the "green apocalypse" thing that's become popular lately.
Very nicely done!

Thought this was The Last of Us fan art by you!
Anyway impressive as always!

Massively cool landscape. So much detail. Love the moss or whatever it is growing on the overhead wires.
Am really impressed by your distinct lighting of the background - midground and foreground in this picture. Beautifully done.
I wish it would be a very long comic with human encounter, romance and adventure.
Wow dude this is quite amazing! The colors are so vibrant! Definitely has a post apocalyptic feel to it. Very nice job! :D
This is an exceptional scene. There's so much colour and atmosphere in this. <3
This looks fantastic I like these kinds of pics there's just wonderful
I call environments like this green hell because there's no telling who... or what is in those ruins.
Rather "green hell" than "industrialized post-capitalist market for oil-wars destruction" hell, which we live in right now. I really pity those Syrians and Iraqis and others in the levant region that are absolutely suffering.
I know off-topic, back on topic: Kenket delivers as always!

And the forest is growing again. Time for the wolves to recover their ancient territories.
I like such sceneries. That reminds me of Didier Convard's comics: "Chats".
And maybe one day such a destruction of modern societies will happen...

Holy crap. That art detail and effort is overwhelming lol. Amazingly done well art, congrats! ♡
Ken are you going to be selling prints again like you did last year? Because I'd buy this one in a heartbeat.
The fox deserves more fat on it's bones. Looks like he/she's been starving for weeks.
Ok, I just checked to make sure.
The background has perfectly reflected that of a certain part of The Last of Us.
Beautiful:)

Ha! I confess I actually based it off a mix of the Last of Us and some Call of Duty screenshots of bombed Berlin.

Permission to use this as my new laptop (and phone) background?
Because I love how this is drawn!

So beautiful I'd love to explore that place ^^
Great job drawing this.
Great job drawing this.
Kenket, it is an awesome work ! I was surprised, when I saw the con book cover. Thank you, for this ! =)
ah the last of us, what a wonderful game, so full of emotion
I love your backgrounds. Every painting of yours I see makes me want to paint more. :)
I love seeing images like this where nature reclaims land for real so artwork of it is also awesome! Good job on this! :)
Those tags gave me a sensible chuckle XP. Oh, and the art is fantastic, as usual
I really love post-apocalyptic city scenes and you've captured it so well in this <3
Reminds me of that movie 'I am Legend'.
Read the book as well, one is nothing like the other.
The Christmas flashbacks in the movie still haunt me. All those bright, colored lights as everything was going to hell, a little girl and her puppy oblivious in the dark shadows of a speeding government SUV, the world everyone took for granted ending around a man trying and failing to fight a war on two fronts...
I hope we never see your vision here become reality. People fascinated with the apocalypse, who hope for one, don't really know what they're asking for. They don't, you know.

This is amazing! It's a fully realized piece with so many small touches going on.
I do not think I'd mind being a foxy floof in a world reclaimed by nature.
Oh man, between this and your recent Mad Max and Fallout themed pieces, my little post-apocalyptic loving heart is just singing with glee!
Looks amazing! I'm a big fan of post apocalypse scenery. :P
Their clothing being in good shape suggests that it was made not too long ago and so there must be some manufacturing going on in their world
great range of colours and textures! amazing how you create that sense of distance with traditional media!
The movie “A Sound of Thunder” comes to my mind when I see this awesome artwork.

Squeeeee! Your environments are always sooo gorgeous!!!
echoing the "last of us" feelings. the concept art for that game (and the game itself lbr) are stunning. magnificent work here.
An incredibly detailed and all around beautiful piece It achieved the highest price of all pieces in the art auction for very good reasons
I absolutely love the cover of this one! *hugs his conbook*
unrelated: major LMAO at the submission keywords!

This turned out so fantastic, I cannot thank you enough for painting this wonderful cover art
This goes to my wall paper of my PC haha, really nice job, I would like to see something of you with zombies, I imagine that at first sight
I LOVE the style of this picture, and it's location! This is the kind of place you could totally find my character. Loves places like this.
Looks like the CN Tower in the background. That's in Toronto. So this must be Toronto in the aftermath of Rob Ford's mayoralty. I'm not Canadian, btw.
Amazingly painted and great atmosphere to it. Love all those textures on it.
Ahhh...
-The post-human world will be so much more pleasant...
Such a shame I won't be here to see it...!

i actually kinda wish the real world could look like this :P
I think this is my favorite piece of art that i have seen to this date.
Reminds me of Logan's Run, when they stumble into Washington DC for the first time.
I love Kenket's art, but I cant tell if the Fox's eyes are somewhat closed. Maybe he's tired. I guess I don't know the whole story.
This is a better concept than The Last Of Us :D
Amazing work! You really can feel how long it has been since someone been on this city and the fur on those characters is amazing!

The Last of Us vibes are strong here :D
Should really play that game again
Should really play that game again
My first thought: The rents have certainly continued to rise anyway. But nice picture
This reminds me of my modded Fallout 4. It was a mix of furry with overgrown plant life.
