Yes, I am still alive... gonna be more or less on hiatus for another few weeks yet though, I'm afraid, between friends' weddings, other art projects and just making the most of the precious bit of time between my Tigorilla's summer classes and the beginning of fall term.

mmmmmmm.... getting some horse practice in yet again. Love the playfulness. Nice scene!
Thank you! It took just under 36 hours, which just shows how much I need to practice painting backgrounds, haha. I'm sure a more skilled artist would be able to paint a grassy field and cloudy sky in half that time, but I just had to keep patiently painting over it again and again until it looked decent >.< Ah well, at least all that extra time made it come out super detailed!
Strangely enough, the two horses look like separated forms of the same entity. Imagine seeing the anthro riding the feral!

Thank you! And I actually used a stock texture for the denim fabric, though I used a slightly rough-edged brush for the shading as well to keep it consistent.
