It was getting late, and pip had been running for what seemed hours with the mysterious package he meant to deliver. his legs were burning, so the tired bat decided to have a short respite to catch his breath.
"i'm in bad territory" he thought to himself as he slipped into an alley to hide. it was the home turf of a rival gang, the black-stick, named after a nefarious drug of the same name. "i can hear footstep's, i gotta move." Before Pip could move a bullet ricochet off a nearby dumpster, they where armed.
"This is energized ammo bitch, one move and you'll get shot to cinders!"
a well built canine steps out of the blue along with an avian companion.


"Ha! if it isn't the paperboy we got a hint about. we've been waiting for you. Hand it over now."
Pip was shaking, his heart racing, he didn't like confrontation, so fighting was out of the question. he start to back up, and as his back hit the dumpster, realized he had no where to go.
"P-please don't hurt me! i'll-"
"SHUT IT! hurry and hand it over or we'll take it from your burnt bones!"
"Ok ok!"
Pip knew he had to act quick, the gunshot probably alert the authorities and the thugs were getting more jumpy by the second.
"f-fine you can have it, but only if you let me go!"
The dog smirked and holstered his gun. reaching for a discarded pipe on the ground.
"how about i take you both. Boss been needing a new toy since his old one got wise."
Pip's stomach sunk, he knew what was coming. But before he could react, THONK. Pip hit the ground like a plane without wings, the world slowly fading to black and no clue what he should expect next.
