What.... no CED or Laserdisc? Where did you find the tv boombox under the hanging speaker?
I bought a laserdisc player one year after this picture. As i recall the boombox was a GE with color tv and micro cassette. Dropped it one day, and cracked the main board. Tried to fix it but it was never the same.
Aw man. I would have loved that. I have a Panasonic B/W TV radio station that still works. I'll try and get pics of my stuff up eventually. I have 3 Pioneer Laserdisc players.
8-track. psa's and commercials used to come to radio stations on 8-track. never worked one, but sort of knew someone who did once upon a time.
had an 8-track recorder once, along with a second 8-track player, when i was playing with analog synth, because personal computers still only existed as kits, and power supplies for them were just not to be found.

I was on a tour of a local radio station in the late 80's.
