Still love this a lot. "Puff The Magic Dragon" has always been a huge part of my life and you illustrated it gorgeously (of corse, I expected nothing less). I especially like your take on Puff, he's got a sort of "cool old guy" look to him.
My version of Puff would never abandon Jackie, not for maturity, not for nothin'! :)
*warbles* ..... Always such a whimsical wonderful tale... alas, the sad ending.... but I embrace your joyous art. ^v^ May this moment never be stolen by time.....
I've read that there was supposed to be one more stanza, one where Jackie Paper's son comes to play with Puff, but due to the original poem no longer existing, it's lost forever.
